Life is hard -- and so is potty training!

That's the lesson Anna Faris and husband Chris Pratt are learning with their 3-year-old son Jack.

"He wears a diaper at night," the "Mom" star told while promoting Lay's Flavor Swap contest.

"He's been great during the day," she continued. "But honestly -- and I hope that maybe other parents can appreciate this -- the diaper at night is mostly out of my laziness because in the rush of the morning, I just don't know if I can change his sheets every day. So that's where we're at."

It's a big improvement from back in September 2015 when the comedic actress took to Twitter to share a photo of her swimsuit-clad kiddo after he had an accident while out and about on a sunny day.

"Potty training is going so great! I'm a natural!" she joked in the caption.

Chris, of course, responded with an equally hilarious tweet: "Those are swim shorts," he wrote. "Put him in the pool and that's perfectly acceptable behavior. I'm proud of both of you."

But now little Jack is "doing great about the potty," Anna says.

"He didn't like to go, but we make him," she adds.

The Hollywood power couple have an old trick to thank for their progress: "Chris, my husband, will sort of [use] that Cheerios trick," says Anna. "With boys, put a couple of Cheerios [in the toilet bowl] and make them aim for that."

Who knew it was that easy?

Let's just hope little Jack develops a sense of humor akin to his famous folks. Otherwise all these over-shares about his potty habits may be difficult to live down one day!
