Jonathan Lipnicki On Those Shirtless Photos -- And Returning to The Big Screen
What did you do to get in such great shape?
A few things went into it. I go to acting class at Playhouse West, in Hollywood, and one of my acting teachers, Robert Carnegie, was sharing with us how you have to push yourself in everyday life. I was thinking, "What can I push myself with, and what am I not doing?" And I was like, "You know what, I can be in better shape."
So I called my friend who was a personal trainer that day and was like, "Let's sign up for 15 personal training sessions. Let's just -- before I can say no -- let's just do it." It turned out to be a really big love of mine, and I love going to the gym now, and I love working out. I still continue that, and then I got "For the Love of Money," and originally there was a shirtless scene in there, so I was like, "Oh my God! I'm going all out." So I got really shredded and showed up that day to work, and they were like, "Actually, we are going to put on a shirt for this scene." They even had me get my chest waxed for that scene, and then I ended up not being shirtless.
