It was reported in June that Kardashian and West had hired a surrogate after a medical professional deemed it too dangerous for the reality star to carry a child for the third time. Throughout the most recent season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," the star revealed her desire to explore surrogacy, having been diagnosed with placenta accrete during her pregnancies with both North and Saint.

Later that month, we investigated into a report published by Life & Style, which claimed Kardashian's surrogate was pregnant with twins. In the article, the outlet purported to possess details about the alleged surrogacy. Upon examining the story, however, a rep for the reality star would not confirm or deny the report, stating she would not be "engaging" on the subject, enforcing Gossip Cop to monitor the situation closely. Of course, the star confirmed her surrogacy in September during a teaser trailer she shared on Twitter for the new season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." While FaceTiming with her sister Khloe, Kardashian exclaimed, "We're having a baby!"

In November, Kardashian hosted an elaborate cherry blossom themed baby shower inside her Bel Air home. Later that month, during an appearance on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show," the reality star accidentally let slip that she and West were having a baby girl while telling a story about her eldest daughter. "North is really excited about it. Let's see if it lasts," Kardashian joked.

The bundle of joy will be Kardashian and West's third child. The couple welcomed North West in 2013, followed by Saint West two years later after dealing with extensive fertility issues. Gossip Cop wishes Kardashian and West many years of health and happiness with their baby girl and growing family!
