Secrets seemed to be the name of the game in the celebrity world this week — a secret wedding could be on the horizon for one A-lister; another celeb announced he'd secretly gotten married; and a reality star who secretly wed in January is already pulling the plug on her marriage. For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, they're not hiding their romance from anyone, and it's getting more and more serious by the day. How serious? Well, a friend of Harry's thinks an engagement is mere months away. "They will be engaged by the end of summer," a source told Us Weekly, adding that the royal and the "Suits" actress "have spoken candidly about their future. They see a life together." A friend of Meghan's echoed that sentiment. "They're so in love," a pal said. "I honestly can't stress how happy she is. Out of 10, I'd say 150." It's also believed that Meghan will be joining Harry in Jamaica the weekend of March 4, 2017, to attend his best friend's wedding.
Texting again
Talk about a blast from the past! On her birthday last month, Jennifer Aniston got a message from none other than her ex-husband, Brad Pitt. The two have since exchanged texts. According to Us Weekly, the actor reached out and the two began texting in the wake of his divorce from Angelina Jolie. Brad "has confided in Jen," an insider told the magazine. "Brad told her he's having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past." Jen's husband, Justin Theroux, isn't worried. "Justin is okay with them being friends," the source said, adding that he understands Jen "wants to be nice" given Brad's current situation. Still, expect the muckraking tabloids to stir the pot on this one in a matter of, well, seconds.
"Secret wedding"
Hear that? It's the sound of wedding bells. Sandra Bullock and her boyfriend of nearly two years, photographer Bryan Randall, have been discussing a "secret wedding," according to Us Weekly. Sandy is reportedly hesitant to make it legal considering how her previous marriage to Jesse James turned out, so she and Bryan are actually considering a non-legal ceremony. "It's not going to be documented. And they're not going to tell anyone it's not legal," the source told Us. "Bryan doesn't even care; he is happy to do whatever Sandra wants."
Splitsville
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have split after 10 months together. The duo's reps released a joint statement on Feb. 28, 2017, that confirmed the news. "Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time," the statement read. The couple is leaving the door open to a reconciliation, several outlets have claimed, while others insist the relationship was never meant to be serious. On March 2, Katy took to Twitter to address things. "HOW BOUT A NEW WAY OF THINKING FOR 2017⁉️U can still b friends & love ur former partners! No one's a victim or a villain, get a life y'all!😘," she wrote.
Recovering from cancer
Just a few weeks ago, Hugh Jackman was treated for skin cancer for what is believed to be the sixth time in more than three years. On Feb. 2, 2017, the "Logan" star said he was "almost completely healed." "It's a basal cell carcinoma, everything's fine," he said on "Live! With Kelly." "It is skin cancer but the least dangerous form of it, so it's just something I have to get out after being an Aussie with English parents, growing up in Australia, it's sort of the new normal for me. But everything's fine. People have been so lovely, thank you."
No love lost
Meg Ryan has no love for her ex, John Cougar Mellencamp, he says. While speaking to Howard Stern on Feb. 1, 2017, John revealed that most of his exes end up really disliking him following their splits. "Oh, women hate me," he said. "I loved Meg Ryan. She hates me to death." Asked why, he explained, "I think it's because I'm a child. I throw fits, I gripe, I complain, I'm moody. Every bad thing that a fella can be, that's me." He said he's tried reaching out to her, but she shot him down. "I don't blame her," he added.
One month and done
Well, that was fast! "Shahs of Sunset" star Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi is ending her marriage just a little over a month after secretly tying the knot with boyfriend Shalom. Her rep confirmed the news in a semi-cryptic statement on March 2, 2017, saying, "During the past few weeks, certain facts have come to GG's attention that have made her realize her marriage can no longer continue, and, in fact, should never have happened." On Valentine's Day, GG announced on Instagram that she and her man secretly got married on Jan. 25. Her social media has since been scrubbed of all traces of Shalom.
Bizarre arrest
Former Bravo star Jackie Warner was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon after crashing her car and nearly running over a police officer. The reality TV star allegedly has no recollection of the Feb. 24, 2017, accident because she was under the influence of a sleeping pill. According to TMZ, Jackie hit a pole while she was driving. When cops arrived, she backed up into a police car, causing a deputy to jump out of harm's way. Pals, reported TMZ, have claimed that Jackie took an Ambien pill earlier in the day and went to sleep. The next thing she knew, she woke up in the hospital, apparently with no recollection of ever leaving her home or driving. Her friends are calling it "sleep driving." The former reality TV star's bail was set at $60,000.
Secretly married
Sneaky, sneaky! "The Fast and the Furious" star Tyrese Gibson announced on Feb. 28, 2017, that he and girlfriend Samantha Lee had secretly gotten married on Valentine's Day. The actor had originally shared a sweet video of the nuptials on Instagram, but later took it down. While it was up, the caption read, "Mark 10:8 And the two will become #OneFlesh Mr & Mrs Gibson." On March 2, he posted a separate photo from their wedding, again confirming that he is indeed a married man.
