Celebrities truly are a breed of their own! Wonderwall.com rounded up several recent examples of how stars are nothing like us, starting with Dwayne Johnson's ultra-exclusive experience in the U.K, where he's currently shooting the first spinoff of the "Fast & Furious" franchise… The Rock didn't just get a hotel room while shooting "Hobbs and Shaw" in London. He got a mansion — specifically the nine-bedroom Surrey compound that Brangelina and their offspring once called home. The estate reportedly features two pools (one indoor and one outdoor), a tennis court and a home gym, but that just wasn't enough for The Rock, who set up his own personal 40,000-pound tented "pop-up" gym on the grounds of the estate. The wrestler-actor's "Iron Paradise," which reportedly accompanies him to every film shoot and takes hundreds of workers to set up, also features a full kitchen so that the superstar can feast on the healthiest meals without taking a break from his grueling exercise regimen, which kicks off at 5 a.m. every day. And if that's not impressive enough, wait till you get a load of this: On Thanksgiving, Dwayne and his family hosted an extra special guest at their temporary U.K. digs: equine actor Rusty, who portrayed the trusty steed of Russell Crowe's titular heroes in both "Gladiator" and "Robin Hood." "Thankful to Rusty and his pal, Rosey, for coming to the crib today for some Thanksgiving ridin' w/ the ohana," The Rock captioned a photo of himself and Rusty. Only The Rock could get a house call from one of Hollywood's most in-demand horses! Now keep reading for more proof that stars are nothing like us…

In other "The Rock has the best life ever" news, Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram on Nov. 19, 2018, to reveal his cheat-meal spread, which consisted of more than 100 pieces of sushi. "The cheat meal Sunday Sushi Train 🍣 🚂 rolled on this past weekend with some power and a ton of that wooosabi," he wrote in the caption, adding, "If you ain't eatin' – then you ain't cheatin'. Enjoy your cheat meals my friends and excuse me while I take greed and gluttony to new levels. #FilthyAnimal #SooshTrain." Meanwhile, we can't imagine eating that much sushi in a week — not to mention in a single meal!

Why take a private jet when you can take a private double-decker 747? That's what Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye West did following the Thanksgiving holiday. On Nov. 26, 2018, the reality star took to her Instagram Story to show off the privately hired plane, which includes multiple private bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a communal lounge and dining room. "No big deal, just taking a private 747," Kim joked in one video. "This is how he does it now — only 747s! Private! I've never even heard of this, but whatever." The power couple also brought along their trainer for the flight "since it's so long so we can work out here," as Kim said. (It's unclear where the pair were headed.) The extravagant travel arrangements shouldn't come as a surprise — after all, as Kim told The Cut as part of an interview published on Nov. 12, her husband is so rich, he smells like money. "I can't explain it, but like a rich person," she said when asked how Kanye smells. "Like … money, I don't know! He smells like what you think a really expensive Saint Laurent fragrance campaign would be."
In other "Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are filthy stinking rich" news: The power couple hired private firefighters to protect their home as deadly wildfires raged across California in mid-November 2018. TMZ reported on Nov. 12 that the private team managed to stave off the Woolsey wildfire as it approached Kimye's $60 million Hidden Hills estate following a mandatory evacuation of the area. In the process, they saved several other homes. "I feel like we were really blessed to have the help of the firefighters that we did," the reality start said on the Nov. 21 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." "We were fortunate enough and blessed enough, and I know that not everyone has this luxury available to them, but we were able to get private firefighters — a company that you can hire that friends of mine that lost their home in a Santa Barbara fire, all their neighbors used this company." Kim told Ellen that she also instructed the firefighters to protect her neighbors' properties: "They saved our home and saved our neighborhood. I had them just make sure that they controlled every house on the edge, so it wasn't just my home that I said, 'Just take care of our home.' [I said,] 'Take care of everything because once they go, once ours starts, the whole neighborhood can go,'" she said. "I don't take that for granted and that was such a blessing that we were able to do that." Kimye then donated $200K to the Wildfire Relief Fund, $200K to the California Fire Foundation and $100K to a firefighter who lost his home in the Woolsey fire while working to protect the homes of others.
And finally, in late October 2018, Kim Kardashian West took to her Instagram Story to show off her impressive collection of crystal-embellished Judith Leiber bags. The reality star's collection of about a dozen clutches includes a cocktail glass with a strawberry on the rim, an ice cream cone, a gold cellphone, a cupcake, a pink phone with a rotary dial, a hamburger, a roll of dollar bills, a money bag and a carton of french fries. Each bag retails for thousands of dollars. The fry bag, for example, retails for $5,695.
And now back to Kanye… On Nov. 14, 2018, Kanye West took to Twitter to share a photo of himself singing karaoke with a group of men that included Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg (far right). According to the rapper, the group tackled the Backstreet Boys' hit 1999 single "I Want It That Way." We're not sure which is more impressive: singing karaoke with one of the most iconic artists on the planet or singing karaoke with the third richest person alive.
Mindy Kaling revealed on the Oct. 28, 2018, episode of E!'s "Busy Tonight" that she was texting "A Wrinkle in Time" co-star Oprah Winfrey while in labor with her daughter, Katherine. "I'm not like Gayle [King] close with Oprah … but I would say we're friends," the funnywoman told host Busy Philipps. "I have her phone number. I will say, when I was in labor with my baby, I got a bunch of texts, and the great thing about when you're in labor is like, 'Oh, I don't have to respond to any of these people.' But she texted me about something about, like, her magazine, and I remember — I am literally in labor — and I was like, 'Oh, of course, anything.' … I'm in Cedars-Sinai [Medical Center]. I'm there. I'm hooked up to the thing. People know not to talk to me for like two weeks — I'm about to have a baby. And Oprah asks me something about the magazine and I didn't even tell her I was, like, busy or in labor because I was like, 'Anything you want, of course!'"
Multiple media outlets reported in late October 2018 that Madonna posted a job listing on the website Talent Private Staff seeking a private chef to cook kosher meals for herself and her brood at their homes in London, Lisbon and New York. The chef would reportedly bank somewhere between $108.3K and $140.1K a year. Yum.
How does one potential future king of England celebrate the birth of another potential future king of England? By planting a forest for him, of course! People.com reported on Oct. 30, 2018, that in the documentary "Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70," Prince Charles reveals that he celebrated grandson Prince George's birth by planting a bunch of trees for him at Birkhall, his home in Scotland. "This is George's Wood," the proud grandpapa reportedly said while gesturing to dozens of trees. "As I get older, all I really long for is to plant trees," Charles continued. "I hope it will be quite amusing for George, as they grow up, and he grows up." His wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, also addressed the forest in the documentary: "You can't believe how much it's grown. It was tiny when it was all planted. The next thing you know, you're being dwarfed by it," she said.
Diddy channeled Will Smith — who memorably celebrated turning 50 in September 2018 by bungee jumping out of a helicopter over the Grand Canyon — by skydiving in celebration of his 49th birthday on Nov. 4. While plenty of thrill-seeking individuals celebrate their birthdays by jumping out of planes every day, how many get to land on the lawn of the Playboy Mansion? That's exactly what the music mogul did. (He lives two houses down from the iconic Los Angeles property.) After sticking the landing, Diddy took the party back to Ysabel restaurant and then to his own home for an epic afterparty. According to TMZ , he hosted 200 guests and had more than 50 cars parked outside — until cops shut it down after receiving multiple complaint calls around 2 a.m. on Nov. 5 (a Monday).
And here's more proof that Diddy is living an extraordinary life: On Oct. 23, 2018, he pledged a whopping $1 million toward the establishment of a charter school in the Bronx as part of the Capital Preparatory Schools network. The new school will reportedly open next fall with 160 sixth and seventh graders and will expand from there. Nice!
On Oct. 31, 2018, TMZ reported that Katy Perry dropped $7.5 million on a guest home — a four-bedroom, five-bathroom, 4,400-square-foot property with a pool in Beverly Hills — near the five-bedroom house she bought in the same neighborhood for $19 million in 2017. Why? So that her friends and family have a place to stay when they're visiting from out of town. Must be nice!
In other celeb real estate news: TMZ reported on Oct. 25, 2018, that Kylie Jenner and beau Travis Scott dropped $13.45 million on a Beverly Hills mansion — her fifth property — that they're splitting 50/50. The home reportedly features a 2,300-square-foot master bedroom with his and hers bathrooms that spans most of the second floor, a multi-car garage, a pool, a gym, a massage room and more.
And Kylie stuns again! … What do you get the woman who has everything for her 63th birthday? If you're Kylie Jenner and the birthday girl is mom Kris Jenner, a 488 Gran Turismo Berlinetta Ferrari worth a staggering $250K will suffice. The makeup mogul took to her Instagram Story on Oct. 29, 2018, to show how she surprised her momager with the early birthday gift a week before her big day. "488 For The Queen ♥️ #EarlyBdayGift," the 21 year old captioned a video of her mom behind the wheel of the red sports car. "My mom's dream car," Kylie can be heard saying in the video as Kris yells, "Oh my God!" in the background.
Still need more proof that Kylie Jenner is nothing like us? On Nov. 6, 2018, the reality star took to Instagram to share a video of her home decorated with hundreds of arrangements of red roses from boyfriend Travis Scott. "Hell of a way to end the night," she captioned a video showing off the extravagant display as her man's song "Hell of a Night" played in the background. According to TMZ, the rapper splashed out for the flowers to celebrate Kylie Cosmetics' partnership with Ulta Beauty stores.
Does anyone treat their fans better than Taylor Swift does? On Oct. 22, 2018, E! News reported that the singer donated $15,500 to a GoFundMe campaign for a fan raising money to care for her mother, who has been in a coma for three years. The 19-year-old fan, Sadie Bartell, tweeted on Oct. 1 asking her followers to donate to her GoFundMe campaign. In her note, the college student writes, "[My mom] went into the coma two days before I saw [Taylor's] 1989 tour and I'm grateful to Taylor for keeping me afloat through it all." Somehow, Taylor caught wind of Sadie's plea and swooped in to help.
Cardi B and Offset's daughter Kulture is definitely in the running for most extra baby on the planet. In mid-November 2018, the new mom took to Instagram to show off a custom box of Honey Nut Cheerios that someone had made in honor of her little girl. "How cool is this Honey Nut Cheerios box ?❤️❤️My baby so special God Bless," Cardi captioned a picture of the box, which features Kulture's name instead of the Cheerios logo, along with the tagline, "specially made with lots of love." But that's not the only reason why little Kulture is "so special." In late October, Cardi confirmed reports that she and Offset were offered seven-figure deals for the first photo of their daughter — and turned them all down. "We just don't wanna show our baby right now," she told Apple Music. "I got offered seven figures, but I'm just not ready yet." Can you imagine?! Clearly, she and Offset are doing just fine on their own…
On Nov. 19, 2018, Cardi B took to Instagram to show off the two-story New York home with a built-out basement that she bought for her mom. Though she didn't divulge the exact cost of the swanky new crib, she revealed that it cost way more than $600K: "Last year I was so thirsty to buy my mom a home and I could only afford a house that cost $600,000. And you know, we live in New York, so cribs that looks like that look like s—. I waited, I waited, I waited, I waited till I could afford a dream home, and I copped it," she said in a video showing off the house, which features a gym and a theater. If only we could all treat our mamas so well!
And here's one more reason why Cardi B is nothing like us: On Nov. 15, 2018, the rapper, who welcomed daughter Kulture in July, complained on Instagram Live about losing her baby weight so quickly. "I've been very depressed because I cannot stop losing weight," she said. "And it's so crazy because when I first gave birth, I did everything to lose my baby weight. I was drinking Teami so it could curb my appetite and now that I lost all the baby weight … now I wanna gain weight but now I can't gain weight because I have a terrible appetite. … I really hate that because everybody be like, 'Oh, but you look so nice, so skinny.' I don't like looking too skinny. I just hate it. I used to be skinny when I was a teenager. I used to hate it. And I hate it now. That's been really depressing me, making me sad — my weight. … So, yeah, I'm really trying to gain weight, y'all, and it's really hard and I don't know how." The chart-topper also lamented, "I got a six-pack right now but I need my thighs, though." Cry us a river, Cardi.
How much do you make a year? Is it enough to cover one month's rent in the insane New York City pad that The Weeknd shares with girlfriend (and new roomie) Bella Hadid? The New York Post reported on Oct. 24, 2018, that the power couple rent a 5,004-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bathroom penthouse apartment in Tribeca for $60,000 a month. A wide range of celebrities — from Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel to Meg Ryan and Rebel Wilson — have called the building home over the years.
What did YOUR grandma wear to Thanksgiving dinner? Kris Jenner donned an $8K Versace ensemble to break bread with her family in Palm Springs. Daughter Kourtney Kardashian took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of her mom's extravagant outfit, which included a pair of $775 leggings, a $929 bodysuit and a $3,675 coat. The Kardashian family matriarch accessorized with a $3,000 vintage Chanel chain belt, a gold chain necklace, gold drop earrings and black booties.
Kris Jenner isn't the only member of the Kardashian clan who had an unnecessarily extravagant fashion moment in November 2018. On Nov. 3, the paparazzi caught Kendall Jenner ringing in her 23rd birthday by riding a Citi Bike in New York City while wearing a horrendous fox-fur-lined green jacket by Saks Potts worth a whopping $2,294. The model completed her tasteless and tacky ensemble with a pair of $300 Re/Done jeans and a pair of $300 Yeezy Wave Runner 700 sneakers.
In late November 2018, TMZ got their hands on the publicly filed floor plans for the absolutely insane mansion that Drake is building in Toronto. The documents show that the crib will include a 941-square-foot master bedroom — accessible by a private staircase — that will span half of the second floor. The master suite will include two closets, two dressing rooms, a master bathroom with a steam shower, tub and skylight, two balconies with an outdoor hot tub and a kitchenette. The 35,000-square-foot mansion reportedly has four guest bedrooms, two saunas, a massage room, a 10-car garage, an elevator, a gym, a screening room, a full basketball court and more.
File this one under "weird but true." In mid-November 2018, a SUNY Purchase College student went viral after he tweeted that "the best thing about my school is the danny devito shrine hidden behind the paper towel dispenser in one of the bathrooms." The shrine of unknown origins — a nod to the actor's "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" character, Frank, and his wrestling alter ego, the Trashman — features several photos of the star along with a sign reading, "Leave an Offering for Our Lord and Savior Danny DeVito, Patron Saint of Trash Men." Over the years, many students have dutifully left offerings of trash at the shrine, which is located in a tiny room that can only be accessed from a gap in the wall hidden behind a paper towel dispenser in a bathroom. If that all wasn't odd enough, get this: Danny actually acknowledged the trash shrine. "Your shrine honors me. My heart is filled with love and garbage. Tomorrow, as you may know, is my name day. Do something that makes you feel good. Above all be kind to each other. Pick up trash, recycle, and be aware of plastics in the ocean," he tweeted.
In mid-November 2018, Bruno Mars announced his plans to pay tribute to his hit single "24K Magic" in the best possible way: by donating 24,000 Thanksgiving meals to people in need in his native Hawaii. The singer made the generous donation through the Salvation Army's Thanksgiving Dinner Program in the Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division. According to a press release, Bruno's contribution is "single-handedly expanding [the program's] reach across the state."
Olivia Culpo was clearly caught off guard when off-and-on love Danny Amendola was photographed looking super-cozy with another woman on Oct. 28, 2018. As the former beauty queen hinted on her Instagram Story on Nov. 2 — the NFL player's 33rd birthday — she dropped big bucks on his birthday present: a blingy new Rolex worth an estimated $12K that she ended up keeping for herself. "Looks like this is my present now. HAPPY BDAY TO ME," she scrawled across a blurry photo of the watch on her wrist. Well, you know what they say: Money can't buy you love.
Jacob Tremblay is only 12 years old, but he's already making bank. TMZ reported on Nov. 15, 2018, that the child star will take home $900K for his role in the upcoming Seth Rogen-produced R-rated comedy "Good Boys." A few weeks earlier, TMZ reported that the pint-sized SAG Award nominee scored a $100K payday for his role in the upcoming "The Shining" sequel "Doctor Sleep." How many adults can say that they made a million bucks in business deals in one month alone?
While it's not exactly out of the ordinary for Millennials to create Instagram accounts for their offspring, it's pretty unusual for anyone to have thousands of followers before they're even born. Such is the case for Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham's unborn child, who has more than 45,000 followers at @babyluyendyk as of late November 2018. So far, the Instagram account has posted two photos — both of the expectant mom posing in black leggings while showing off her barely-there baby bump. The controversial couple announced Lauren's pregnancy on Nov. 14.
TMZ reported on Oct. 24, 2018, that Post Malone spent $40,000 on more than 660 deliveries from Postmates this year. The rapper reportedly ordered nearly 3,000 items while visiting 52 different cities across the country. He requested deliveries from fast-food joints like Chick-fil-A, Burger King, KFC, Panda Express and Popeyes. His orders also included a 12-pack of beer, three champagne bottles from Ralphs, three bottles of grape Pedialyte and Target's most expensive chess board. Clearly, money well-spent…
In early November 2018, Eminem bought out a Detroit theater for two screenings of "Bodied," the rap-battle satire he produced, so that fans in his hometown could catch the flick for free. "Come through and get #BODIED! I bought out the theatre, so tickets on me for the Friday + Saturday @BodiedMovie 6:40pm screenings at the AMC 30 in Sterling Heights," he wrote on Instagram on Nov. 1, 2018.
Anna Wintour doesn't wait in line to use the bathroom, Page Six reported on Nov. 6, 2018. While attending the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund awards in New York City, the Vogue bigwig reportedly sent an assistant to clear a path for her in the ladies' room before she relieved herself. "One of her assistants entered the women's bathroom and asked if there was a line … because Anna was coming in," said a source. "The women allowed Anna to cut the line."
In late October 2018, MailOnline got an inside look at Floyd Mayweather's new $10 million Las Vegas mansion. The property reportedly features 11 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, an elevator, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a pool house, a gym, a wine cellar, a vineyard, two detached garages and a 20-car underground garage, as well as two guest houses.
