Luann de Lesseps is back in rehab six months after her first stint. On July 16, Bethanny Frankel confirmed that her "The Real Housewives of New York City" co-star was seeking treatment. "This weekend, Luann was surrounded by her girlfriends and decided — with their support — that in light of recent circumstances, it is the healthiest choice for her not to attend Tuesday's reunion taping so that she can continue in her healing process," she said. "Luann is now surrounded by a core group of people who truly have her best interests at heart and who are working to make sure she gets the help she needs. Bravo has been very supportive of Luann during this time. It's a brave and honest decision by her, and everyone is rallying around her and wants the best for her." After the news was announced, Page Six reported that friends had initially and unsuccessfully tried to stage an intervention with Luann. On July 17, TMZ reported that Luann sought help after realizing she was caught in a spiral of "boozy partying" over the past few weeks.

Split rumors
Rumors swirled all week long proclaiming that Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus had split up again. The couple, however, seemed to put those unfounded rumors to rest on July 19. Early in the week, OK! Australia claimed the two called off their wedding because they couldn't agree on when to start a family. "He wants kids and doesn't want to keep putting it off but it's not quite the timeline Miley had in mind… he is left heartbroken," a source told the mag, according to Daily Mail Australia. "Miley put off plans for the wedding and Liam was growing tired of it… They haven't been getting along in recent months." The source said Miley doesn't really want to marry. "[His] family had been begging him to see the light for a long time, but he had faith in Miley," the source added. "Now he feels like an idiot." On July 19, as multiple media outlets reported similar stories, Liam shared a video of himself and Miley in a car together joking around. They didn't address the rumors directly, but the mere fact that they were together and playful spoke volumes about the state of their union.

Sexual identity reveal
Paris Jackson has put an end to speculation about her sexual identity. The reveal was made on her Instagram Story as she answered fans' questions. When one follower asked her, "Are you bi?," Michael Jackson's daughter responded, "that's what you guys call it so i guess but who needs labels." There has been speculation for months that Paris was bisexual after she was seen kissing model-actress Cara Delevingne. On July 16, she hit back at reports claiming she "came out." "I came out when i was 14. i've referred to the community as 'my fellow LGBTQ+' on stage before. i've talked about having a crush on girls when i was 8 in my Rolling Stone article," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "There are pictures of me kissing girls online. why are people just now saying this is news?" She then explained, "I just love people for people. i don't label myself so please don't label me. thank you!"

Working on her mental health
Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams checked into a mental health facility to deal with issues of depression, it was announced on July 17. "For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognize when it's time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your wellbeing," she said in a statement. "Today I proudly, happily and healthily stand here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for the betterment of those in need." Michelle has struggled with depression in the past.
Daddy drama
One thing we found out this week is that Thomas Markle will not be silenced by the royal family. On July 16, Duchess Meghan's dad did a paid interview with The Sun. In that chat, he revealed that he has no way of contacting his daughter now that she's firmly entrenched as a member of the royal family. "The phone number that I call, it doesn't work anymore. The, I guess, liaison with the royal family never answers back. And there's no address I can write to so I have no way of contacting my daughter," he said. A day earlier, he said he believes Meghan is "terrified" in her new role as the Duchess of Sussex. "I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face and I see it in her smile. I've seen her smile for years. I know her smile," Thomas told the British tabloid. "I don't like the one I'm seeing now. This one isn't even a stage smile — this is a pained smile." Then, on July 17, he chatted with TMZ, indicating that he's not going to be quiet about Meghan. "I was silent for a full year and the press beat me up every day saying I was a hermit hiding in Mexico, so I gave my story," he told TMZ. "Apparently that interview put the royal family in their silence mode … so, I gave another interview to break the silence. All they have to do is speak to me." He added, "Tomorrow is my birthday, 74 years old, and I'm enjoying the fact that I can make the entire royal family not speak and maybe I can get a laugh out of the duchess."
Teen Mom
Bristol Palin is joining the cast of "Teen Mom OG," according to a new report. On July 19, TMZ reported that Republican politician Sarah Palin's daughter has signed on to the MTV show, joining Amber Portwood, McKenzie McKee, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell. Bristol is essentially replacing Farrah Abraham, who was fired from the show in late 2017. (Farrah, however, told Us Weekly after hearing the news, "I don't care as there's no replacement for me, as we all know.") Bristol was 17 when she got pregnant with her first child, Tripp, with then-boyfriend Levi Johnston. Her teen pregnancy was announced during her mom's unsuccessful bid for the vice presidency.
Lock him up
Former "Dukes of Hazard" star John Schneider asked a judge to send him to jail in order to avoid paying his ex-wife spousal support. The Blast obtained a letter in which John begs Judge Mark Epstein to remove a suspended sentence of 120 days in jail and asks the court to lock him up. He states that he is more than willing to accept punishment for his actions. He reportedly owes his estranged wife, Elly Castle, $150,000. The court previously told him that he had to file his tax returns for 2014-2016 and pay his ex half of the required support by the end of the year. In the letter, he said, with "regret and embarrassment" he can't complete the conditions ordered by the court.
Pregnancy speculation
One of the bigger stories of the week might not be a story at all. All week long, the buzz was that Beyonce could be pregnant again. Fans posted cell phone video of Queen Bey from her "On the Run II" tour with hubby JAY-Z. Those pocket paparazzi all claim to see a bump on the mother-of-three. The speculation seemed to begin after she rubbed her stomach while performing "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" in concert. There's been no official confirmation or denial from Bey, Jay or their camps.
Will details
Late "Pawn Stars" patriarch Richard Harrison left son Rick Harrison in charge of his estate. "The Old Man," as he was affectionately known on the show, also cut another son completely out of his will. On July 17, The Blast obtained the will, which states, "I would like to express my love and affection for Christopher Keith Harrison; however, for purposes of this will, I have intentionally and with full knowledge failed to provide for him and his issue." The will was signed in 2017. Rick, who starred on History's "Pawn Stars" with his dad, was officially named the administrator of the will. The will does not list how much Richard's estate is worth, The Blast reported. Richard passed away on June 25 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
Death premonition
"The Crocodile Hunter" star Steve Irwin knew he wouldn't live to be an old man. "You know, he never thought he would have a long life. He just always kind of had this sense that his life would be cut short," his widow, Terri Irwin, told ABC's "Anh's Brush With Fame" on July 18. "I remember him saying to me, 'I don't think I am going to film anymore, I think I am just going to spend time with my kids.'" Steve's premonition came true on Sept. 4, 2006, when he was stabbed in the heart by a stingray barb. He was 44. Terri said she still gets emotional about her "soulmate." "Grief hits you at the most bizarre times. So I might be talking to biology students and it will remind me of Steve and I will burst into tears," she said. "You don't ever get over grief. It changes, but you never wake up one morning and go, 'Oh, I'm done with that.' That was the challenge in the journey after Steve died."
