Celebrities truly are a breed of their own! Wonderwall.com rounded up several recent examples of how stars are nothing like us, starting with Rihanna's beauty hack… During an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" that hit the Internet on Dec. 7, 2018, eyebrow artist Damone Roberts revealed that when RiRi wanted to lighten her brows for the 2018 Met Gala, she sent a lookalike for a test run before committing to the look. "So Rihanna's so fly that she has a lookalike model come by your space and you try out different looks on the eyebrows on the model and you send pictures to Rihanna and she decides whether she wants to do it or not," he said. "So literally a lookalike model we trialed and tried and everything else until we got them perfect and we sent Rihanna the pictures and we heard nothing and of course two days before the Met Gala she's like, 'I loved them! You gotta fly to New York and take care of me!' and do them and whatnot."

How's this for an A-list movie night? Jennifer Lopez joined Kim Kardashian West and her family — sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, as well as mom Kris Jenner — at the reality star's home in Hidden Hills, California, for a special private screening of her rom-com "Second Act." Said Kim on her Instagram Story, "Alright guys, so I'm having movie night tonight at my house. And let me just say something. Never in my life would I have imagined that my idol would want to come over and have a movie night with me." Continued Kanye West's missus, "Like, if you would have said to me 10 years ago, 'Jennifer Lopez is coming over [to] your house to watch a movie and to have dinner,' … I never would have imagined this would've been my life. … Dreams do come true, guys." Kim also got a massage during the private at-home screening with her idol, whom she described as her "inspiration for everything." Because of course!

According to a Jan. 3, 2019, press release from the Louvre, the French museum credits its record-breaking attendance in 2018 — which was up 25 percent from 2017 — in part to Beyonce and JAY-Z, who shot their "APES—" music video on the premises. "The recovery of tourism in France — specially in Paris — boosted visitor attendance in 2018, as did the flagship exhibition 'Delacroix (1798–1863).' Elsewhere in the world, interest in the Louvre was bolstered by the Louvre Abu Dhabi (which recently celebrated its first anniversary), and by Beyonce and JAY-Z's 'Apes—' video, with its tribute to some of the museum's greatest artworks," wrote the Louvre. Now that's power!
And here we have the perfect example of the type of mix-up that only happens in Hollywood! During a Dec. 13, 2018, appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," Natalie Portman revealed that for the past few years, she's been accidentally inviting Meryl Streep instead of her cousin Meryl to her family's holiday celebrations in Los Angeles. "We've been inviting [my cousin and her husband] to all our Jewish holidays and everything, and the last three holidays, she didn't reply, and I was like, 'Did I do something to offend her? Did I hurt her feelings? Is she holding a grudge?' I was like, 'She's totally not that type of person,'" said the Oscar winner. "So I looked when I went to text her, and I realized I had two Meryls in my phone book and I'd been texting Meryl Streep. I was like, 'Oh no!' So of course I called and explained."
Kylie Jenner took to her Instagram Story on Dec. 14, 2018, to show off the latest addition to her ridiculously impressive car collection: a custom ice-blue Rolls Royce Wraith worth more than $320K. "My babies," she wrote across an image showing her new whip beside her Rolls Royce Wraith Black Badge and her black G-Wagen. "I've waited so long for you," she scrawled across another photo of the car. (So long? Kylie, by the way, is only 21.) She also has an orange Ferrari LaFerrari (worth $1.5 million), a Lamborghini Aventador (worth $400K), a white McLaren, a silver Ferrari, a blue Ferrari, a vintage Rolls Royce and a silver Range Rover.
Matt Damon is the proud new owner of the most expensive condo in Brooklyn. Curbed reported on Jan. 2, 2019, that the Oscar winner dropped $16.75 million on the six-bedroom penthouse apartment in the former Standish Arms Hotel. It reportedly features white oak flooring, a kitchen decked out with Italian Carrara marble slab countertops and mosaic-tiled master bathrooms.
In other celeb real estate news, Kanye West dropped $14 million on wife Kim Kardashian West's Christmas present: a Miami Beach condo with beachfront views. (The duo were photographed making out on the patio at their fancy new digs on Jan. 4, 2019.) According to Page Six, the rapper quietly checked out the four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom pad while he was in Miami for Art Basel in December. The unit is reportedly part of the Faena House tower. On-site amenities include a private gym, a pool and spa, concierge services and underground paparazzi-proof parking.
And finally, TMZ reported on Jan. 3, 2019, that Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo dropped $32 million on the 3.1-acre compound in Los Angeles's Pacific Palisades neighborhood — the spread that Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner and their brood once called home. The property includes 16,000 square feet of living space spread out over three buildings: an 8,800-square-foot, five-bedroom, eight-bathroom main house with a screening room and an art studio; a two-bedroom, three-bathroom guesthouse with its own screening room; and a third building of unknown size and purpose. The property also includes a pool, a basketball court and a gym.
The Irish webloid Goss.ie reported on Dec. 30, 2018, that Taylor Swift dropped nearly $65K to rent the entirety of the 18th century Glin Castle in West Limerick, Ireland, for six days to celebrate Christmas with her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, and his family.
After tweeting about struggling to get her daughter with John Legend, Luna, to eat anything other than "spaghetti and fish sticks," Chrissy Teigen revealed that she made a menu of meal options for the 2 year old — "a binder of laminated photos with TODDLER FOOD on Peppa Pig plates," the model and cookbook author explained on Twitter on Dec. 17, 2018. "I actually didn't realize how insane this was til I started typing it," she added. "I'm spending my days making a menu, cooking and plating every meal and taking pics so my DARLING ANGEL will eat something WHO HAVE I BECOME…I just love projects," she wrote in another tweet. The mother of two also shared a video showing off the fruits of her labor, which includes options like cereal with bananas, grilled cheese, cheese quesadilla, chicken tenders, chicken spaghetti, ham and cheese "Lunables" (a homemade spin on Lunchables) and, yes, crispy fish sticks. Offset dropped the big bucks on Cardi B's Christmas presents. On Dec. 26, 2018, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper took to her Instagram Story to show off some of the lavish gifts she received from her estranged hubby: several pieces of jewelry, seven pairs of shoes and six designer handbags, including two Chanel bags (one worth $6,950) and four Hermès Birkin bags (one worth $15,000).

The products the reality star uses to keep his moneymaker in tip-top shape include Glycelene's beauty serum ($125), rejuvenation crème ($95) and eye serum ($85), Dermalogica's solar defense booster ($55) and three more relatively affordable products.
Prince Philip isn't just married to the queen of England. He's also the first person to successfully harvest a sizable quantity of truffles from British soil. (How's that for an extraordinary life?) Britain's The Times reported on Dec. 31, 2018, that the Duke of Edinburgh successfully grew a crop of French Perigord noir truffles, or "black diamonds" — the most prized of the 70 known truffle species — at Queen Elizabeth II's Sandringham estate, a project that kicked off in 2006 when he planted a grove of more than 300 oak saplings that had been infused with truffle spores. According to People magazine, black truffles run at somewhere between $175 and $225 per 3.5 ounces. As if Prince Philip needed the extra dough!
