Before marrying
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was known for her role in
Suits, but the Sussexes continue to struggle to establish themselves in the U.S.
"So he thought that Meghan would be his great sort of guide in the big, wide world beyond Buckingham Palace, as it were," Tina Brown continued. "And it turns out that Meghan makes one terrible professional decision after another."

Meghan Markle is currently focused on building her lifestyle brand, As Ever, but critics continue to wonder if the Duchess of Sussex is capable of succeeding outside of the royal fold.
"And now they are sort of pariahs everywhere, it seems, which is a very difficult situation for them because America was supposed to be the place, which paid the bills," Tina Brown said.

Despite the public scrutiny, Meghan Markle gushed over her life with
Prince Harry in California.
"He loves me so boldly, fully, and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn't," Meghan told
Harper's Bazaar. "No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he's always going to make sure that he has my back."
