The Weeknd Begging Bella Hadid To Take Him Back?

Is The Weeknd begging Bella Hadid to take him back? And is she turning him down because she's dating Drake? Gossip Cop found evidence to dispute both claims.

In Touch writes on its website, "Too late! The Weeknd really hurt his ex-girlfriend Bella Hadid when he went public with his relationship with Selena Gomez — rebounding with Bella's pal just two months after they broke up." But now that he and Gomez have split, the tabloid contends, "The 'Starboy' singer has been blowing up his Bella's phone trying to get back together with her." The gossip magazine alleges the Canadian performer is "texting and calling" Hadid all the time, and even sending her flowers, with a so-called "source" claiming he believes the model is "the true love of his life."

"But," contends the outlet, "she's been ignoring him… because she's happy with new beau Drake, 31, who threw her an extravagant 21st birthday party." Maintains the publication's supposed snitch, "She will never take Abel back. She has no interest in ever speaking to him again." But there's a number of problems with these allegations. For example, far from "never speaking to him again," Hadid actually praised The Weeknd on Instagram after their breakup. She also told Teen Vogue that she'll "always love" and "always respect" him.

Secondly, as Gossip Cop has already debunked, Hadid is not dating Drake, nor did he pay for her birthday party in October. Those untrue asserts were spread by In Touch's sister outlet, Life & Style, and are now being wrongly regurgitated to explain why she's not getting back together with The Weeknd. But Hadid and Drake aren't a couple, so that has no bearing on her dynamic with The Weeknd.

Lastly, while this story suggests The Weeknd is working "nonstop" to reunite with Hadid, his actual public behavior indicates otherwise. As Gossip Cop previously noted, earlier this month he was seen dancing with an unidentified girl at a Toronto club. And just days ago, he stepped out with model Yovanna Ventura. If The Weeknd was really trying to win Hadid back, why would he be publicly involved with other women? That's not exactly the way to show someone you want to reconcile.

As for what Gossip Cop's own sources say, we're told "never say never" and "crazier things have happened" in regards to Hadid and The Weeknd one day getting back together. But right now, they're living "separate lives," and The Weeknd is "happily exploring" life as a single guy.
