Happy to have her back! Amanda Bynes posted a photo with her "beautiful" older sister Jillian on May 15.

In the sweet sibling snapshot, Bynes, 28, and Jillian, 31, beam side-by-side in fashionable outfits. The former Nickelodeon star wears a black peplum top and miniskirt, with a polka-dot sweater draped over her arms and pointed-toe, ankle-strap stilettos on her feet.

The actress last updated her social media account on April 6, wearing a neon bikini and thanking fans for their birthday wishes.

Bynes' tweet calling her sister "beautiful" is in stark contrast to her tweets last summer, when she slammed Jillian as "ugly." Prior to her rehab stint, Bynes wrote on Twitter in June 2013, "My Sister Jillian Has An Ugly Face Don't Worry Drake." Jillian, though, was just one of many celebrities Bynes referred to as "ugly" during that time period.

PHOTOS: Stars who've battled mental illness

Though it was believed that Bynes had been diagnosed with a mental illness, her mother, Lynn Bynes, set the record straight to Us Weekly last month. "Amanda has no mental illness whatsoever. She has never been diagnosed as schizophrenic or bipolar," Lynn told Us in a statement, via attorney Tamar Arminak. "She is very sorry for all the hurtful tweets, statements and actions that occurred while she was under the influence of marijuana."

Since returning home in December 2013, after several months of treatment at a Malibu facility, Bynes has deleted all of her offensive tweets. The actress was also placed on three years of probation back in February, after the court dropped her DUI charge.

Jillian, for her part, has been supporting her sibling through recovery. The older Bynes sister tweeted a picture with Amanda on April 3, writing, "Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister! I love you!"

"Amanda currently is on zero medication. She's devoted to living her life as healthy as possible," Arminak told Us. "Her family is closely involved with her day-to-day life, but they try to give her as much autonomy as possible."
