A bidder at a Cannes charity auction will soon be headed on a trip that is out of this world.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a fan bid $1.5 million to be seated next to Leonardo DiCaprio on a Virgin Galactic flight into space. The trip, arranged by Harvey Weinstein, reportedly benefits the AmFAR Cinema Against AIDS charity.
Prior to the event, the voyage was touted as "a once-in-a-lifetime trip to space with a mystery guest," the news source reports.
In addition to DiCaprio, other notable guests in attendance included Nicole Kidman and Christoph Waltz.
