Former "Chrisley Knows Best" star Savannah Chrisley made things Instagram official with former college and pro football player Robert Shiver on Nov. 5, 2023. "Sometimes… it just works," she captioned a series of photos with Robert — whose beauty queen wife allegedly wanted him dead in a murder-for-hire plot.
The post came two months after Savannah and Robert, who moved on to work in the insurance industry, were first seen in public together in September 2023 when things were "very, very new," she said on the "Viall Files" podcast. "This guy that I'm talking to, his wife just tried to kill him," the reality star added.
Robert's estranged wife, Lindsay Shiver, and her alleged boyfriend have been accused of working with a hitman to kill the former Auburn University athlete. According to People magazine, police arrested Lindsay, her boyfriend and an alleged hitman in the Abacos in the Bahamas in July 2023 after authorities uncovered the supposed murder-for-hire plot on a chain of WhatsApp messages while investigating a break-in at a Bahamian restaurant.
Savannah and the father of three — who's the son of former Flowers Foods CEO Allen Shriver — met via Instagram. "I like the DMs," she said on the podcast. "He's too hot to die. Look, the picture with his kids? He was so good-looking."
She said her favorite things about him are "his heart and the ability to listen and to understand and communicate."

Zookeeper, conservationist and wildlife photographer Robert Irwin, who's the son of late "Crocodile Hunter" star Steve Irwin and his widow, Terri Irwin, and girlfriend Rorie Buckley — who's the niece of late actor Heath Ledger (her mom is the Oscar winner's sister, Kate Ledger) — made their Instagram debut as a couple on Robert's account at the end of August 2023 with this selfie.
