Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's twin son Max was released from the hospital -- where he has been since his March 14 birth -- and returned home a few days ago.
Max remained in the hospital for several weeks due to birth-related weight issues -- not because of a heart condition, as some sites reported.
"The weight issue is very common among infants who were born before reaching full term," Sheen told Usmagazine.com in a statement last week. "I know a lot of people are not fond of hospital food' I just didn't realize they that started so young."
He is now home with his family, Access Hollywood reports.
He is fine, he made weight and went home, Sheens rep, Stan Rosenfield told Access Hollywood.
Sheen and his wife welcomed twins Max and Bob last month.
