Well, that's one way to approach co-parenting! Chris Martin has purchased a house across the street from ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

Chris Martin, who was married to Gwyneth for ten years -- he also shares two kids, Apple and Moses, with the actress -- bought a house in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, sources tell Us Weekly.

Reportedly, the home has a modern design with all-white interior, five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. With only one street between them, Chris and Gwyneth's kids will be able to spend time with either parent "whenever they want," an insider tells Us.

Not wasting any time, a source adds Chris has already moved in and enlisted Gwyneth's mom, Blythe Danner, to help him carry boxes into the $6.75 million pad. He even broke in his new digs with a party for Gwyneth's 42nd birthday on Sept. 28!

And, of course, it was star-studded. Celeb guests included Kate Hudson, Nicole Richie, Tobey Maguire and wife Jen Meyer, Maya Rudolph, Gavin Rossdale, and others.

No word on if Gwyneth's supposed new fella, "Glee" co-creator Brad Falchuk, was in attendance. But Chris's new lady, Jennifer Lawrence, was not there, though Gwyneth reportedly has no problem with Chris dating the "Hunger Games" star.
