Fifty pounds down! Actress and television personality Rosie O'Donnell showed off a major weight loss on Thursday, April 17.

"The View" alum, 52, took to Twitter to post a before-and-after photo of herself, writing "Almost 50 lbs off - I can see it now." O'Donnell looks amazing in the picture with her face looking visibly slimmed-down and and her shoulder-length brown hair styled.

The actress, who currently stars in the ABC Family show "The Fosters," revealed in February that she had lost 40 pounds at the time through weight-loss surgery. She spoke at an event for the American Heart Association and explained that she had dropped from 230 pounds to 190.

O'Donnell has experienced some health scares in recent years, suffering her own heart attack in August of 2012, and sticking by her wife Michelle Rounds, who has been dealing with Desmoid tumors.

She said earlier this year that the heart attack convinced her to undergo weight-loss surgery. "I did it to save my life," she explained.

Following her body transformation, the comedienne is set to return to her old stomping grounds for a huge reunion on The View. O'Donnell will join the 10 other past and present hosts of the program to honor Barbara Walters upon her retirement from daytime TV.
