Tiffani Thiessen went makeup-free as she grabbed some coffees from a Starbucks in Los Angeles on Aug. 10.
On an episode of the "Good Instincts" podcast that aired one day after her caffeine run, the "Saved By the Bell" and "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum — who turns 50 in 2024 — opened up about getting older.
"When I was turning 40, I felt like I had more personal pressure on myself to look the best I could," she said, but "at [almost] 50, I feel very confident in knowing that I'm doing the best I can. I'm trying [to be an example of] a good sense of self to show my daughter that I take care of myself, I go to the gym. … I feel so much more at ease now than I did 10 years ago." (The "White Collar" actress shares kids Harper, 13, and Holt, 8, with husband Brady Smith.)
She added that she's made peace with aging either because it's "me not giving a s*** or it's just me growing up." Though she understands that "yes, I think people will say things, you know … and maybe expect me to look a certain way, yes, but I mean, it's just not realistic. I can only age the way I'm going to age, right?"
According to Tiffani, "I'm taking care of myself and doing things that I know will benefit the outside exterior of myself … but, yeah, those people don't know what's happening on the inside, right? [That's] important because that's what actually helps the outside."

"I won't skip over the obvious — that there is a love in my life who finds me beautiful, and tells me so with words and actions every day — and this is really the only one I NEED to hear — But! I was on the same path before meeting him," she added.
"I wanted to be able to accept myself as I am. And needed to know that those who love me — love me for the truth of who I am rather than who I pretend to be or who I'm expected to be. Outside, I have changed. I'm told by society — for the worse. Inside, I have also changed. I'm told by those who matter — for the better," she wrote.
"When I close my eyes, I have never felt so desirable or beautiful. When I open them, the world has never been as beautiful as it is now. So another gulp of self acceptance," she added, concluding, "Maybe, one day I can just look and see myself as I see others."
