Move over Sophia Grace and Rosie: this election season, Ellen DeGeneres has a couple of equally adorable, mini-politicos on hand to help her out.

Presidential experts Ranier and Atticus hit the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte for Ellen's show last week, where they got to interview Zach Braff, Anderson Cooper -- and the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama.

Both youngsters agreed their sit-down with FLOTUS was the highlight of their time in North Carolina.

"I like her because she's sweet, she's funny, she's nice, and she's a first lady," proclaimed Rainer.

The boys quizzed Obama on her favorite president ("Barack Obama!" she replied, though the boys confessed they prefer Martin Van Buren, because of his excellent sideburns.) Rainer delivered a particularly hard-hitting query on behalf of host DeGeneres.

"Ellen wanted me to ask you if you felt guilty about cheating during the push-up competition," the adorable redhead said.

Obama's response? "You know, I think she's still a little sore because she lost. Big time."
