Another day, another plot twist in the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorce.

According to TMZ, Angelina Jolie does not want Brad Pitt to be prosecuted for his alleged physical altercation with Maddox, 15, in September.

The celebrity website claims that should law enforcement choose to pursue legal charges against Brad Pitt that Angelina Jolie will remain silent and not participate.

This remains consistent with the word out of Angelina Jolie's camp that says she just wants to protect her children, not to punish Brad Pitt for the plane incident.

Both camps have remained adamant about what went down on the private plan. Angelina Jolie claims that Brad Pitt got drunk and struck Maddox, while Brad Pitt alleges that Maddox got in between Brad and Angelina who were fighting at the time -- which led to Brad inadvertently strike Maddox. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt claims he only started to drink after the incident with Maddox.

On Sept. 30, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reached a temporary custody agreement that will last three weeks before being evaluated again.

Under the terms of the custody agreement, Angelina Jolie will get temporary full custody of the couple's six children. Brad Pitt will be allowed to see the children under the supervision of a therapist -- at least initially. The children, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will also have to undergo family therapy. Additionally, Brad Pitt can also be drug and alcohol tested at any moment.

However, some good news for Brad Pitt, is that it's been reported that it would be highly unlikely that Brad will face any criminal charges.
