'Bachelor' star hospitalized for unknown reason

"Bachelor in Paradise" star Carly Waddell was taken by ambulance to the hospital this week for an unknown medical emergency, her estranged husband revealed on his Instagram Story.

Instagram

On June 14, Evan Bass posted a photo of his ex resting in a hospital bed.

"Carly's first ambulance ride – she's gonna be ok and, my goodness, this brings back some memories," he wrote, referring to the time he was taken to the hospital for drinking too much while on "Bachelor in Paradise."

Evan didn't go into further detail as to what was ailing Carly, but he did give his followers a generic update a few hours later.

"Thanks for all the prayers and support," he wrote. "After 9 hours we left the hospital but she's still in pretty rough shape and may have to go back. Continued thoughts and prayers are so appreciated. And she knows she's beloved."

The 38-year-old noted that he was intentionally being vague out of respect for his estranged wife.

"I know y'all wanna know what's going on but it's her health and story to tell if she wants to share. (I did get her permission to share photo from earlier so you can relax Jan from Wisconsin)," he wrote. "In all the madness, she lost her phone and really needs to rest so it might be a bit."

Evan and Carly met on Season 3 of "Bachelor in Paradise" and got engaged afterward. They share two children, but he has three kids from a previous relationship.

In December 2020, Evan and Carly announced their separation.

Demi Moore, 59, shows off her incredible beach body in a hot pink bikini while vacationing in Greece

Demi Moore is defying the age gods.

The actress took to Instagram on Monday, Aug. 15, to show off her amazing bikini body in a very flattering hot pink bikini.

"Soaking up summer," Demi captioned the sun-kissed snap in which she can be seen relaxing on a boat in the Andie's Swim two-piece.

Demi, 59, didn't indicate where the scenic snap was taken, but reports reveal she's vacationing in Greece.

After posting the pic, the "Striptease" actress was showered with praise from followers — and she even got a shoutout from Emma Willis, who's the wife of Demi's ex-husband Bruce Willis

"And it looks good on you!" Emma wrote in the comments.

Rumer Willis, one of Bruce and Demi's three daughters, wrote, "You're such a hottie mama, my god."

It's hardly a rarity for Demi to show off her enviable bikini body. In late July, the Brat Pack actress stunned in one-piece white swimsuit in her pool. A few days earlier, she modeled several pieces from the Andie's Swim collection.

The hot shots come just a few months after Demi was linked to famed chef and restaurateur Daniel Humm

Demi and Daniel, the chef and owner of New York City's Eleven Madison Park, which was once rated the best restaurant in the world, were recently photographed at Paris Fashion Week together. The couple sat on the front row of the Chloe Womenswear Fall/Winter 2022/2023 show with Maria Sharapova and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

"They are really hot and heavy at the moment. Daniel works long, hard hours at his restaurant Eleven Madison Park, but they still often take time to have Demi join him for romantic dinners there," a source told Page Six in April.

Arrested

More details emerge after Kim Zolciak's 20-year-old daughter's DUI arrest

Ariana Biermann, the 20-year-old daughter of Kim Zolciak-Biermann, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, a new report states.

According to documents obtained by People magazine, the influencer was driving with her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, when she was involved in a minor accident at 1 a.m. on Aug. 13 in Georgia.

Records show that Ariana was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper/erratic lane change, and underage possession/purchase of alcohol, all of which are misdemeanors. Hudson was arrested for an alleged DUI, along with allegedly furnishing alcohol to a minor and violating the conditions of his limited driving permit.

Ariana, who was released from Forsyth County Jail on $5120 bond, has denied any wrongdoing, according to her lawyer.

"Ariana was involved in a minor fender bender. When police arrived on scene, the investigating officer immediately initiated an investigation for DUI," her attorney, Justin Spizman, told the magazine. "Despite Ariana's constant invocation that she was upset and anxious from the minor accident, the officer incorrectly concluded she was impaired by alcohol. That was not the case. She wholly denies these allegations and intends to fight these charges because she is not guilty of them."

Citing the police report, Us Weekly said Ariana allegedly refused to take a Breathalizer test.

"I advised [Ariana] that I could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. She stated the odor was possibly from her clothing," the officer detailed in the document. "Ariana stated she had smoked a THC vape pen the night before but did not drink."

"I conducted field sobriety evaluations with Ariana and observed signs of impairment. I observed that she had a noticeable sway during the evaluations," the officer continued in the report, indicating Ariana was asked to "provide a breath sample to the preliminary breath test. … she refused."

The "Don't Be Tardy" star and Hudson began dating in high school. They've been together for four years.

TV push

'Today' correspondent explains why he 'pushed' Jenna Bush Hager on live TV

Push it, push it good.

"Today" show contributor Justin Sylvester is explaining the truth behind a recent interaction with Jenna Bush Hager in which he appeared to push her away on live TV, something some fans think was warranted.

A video from "Today" shows Justin and Jenna standing next to each other while watching chef Andy Baraghani cook a meal. At one point, you can see the former First Daughter patting Justin on the back and putting her arm around him. He then lightly pushes her away, making her look at the camera and smile.

Viewers lined up on both sides of the spectrum, with some claiming Justin was out of line. More people, though, seemed to blame Jenna, claiming she was violating his personal space. Some "Today" fans even went so far as to insist she was sexually harassing Justin.

As the social media drew their lines in the sand, Justin responded to the fervor.

"People thought that she was invading my space, and that's actually not the truth," he said.

Justin then said he was attempting to flirt with the chef because "he was cute." He continued, "I was pushing her away so I could have a one-on-one moment with the chef, and people took it the wrong way… People just jumped to conclusions."

In an Instagram video obtained by The Shaderoom, Justin praised Jenna, claiming she's is "one of the nicest, most welcoming people I've ever met."

The Emmy-nominated host said Jenna has always been a "big champion" of his, and he hates that viewers are "taking it out of context."

While Justin seemed to nip this one in the bud, there might be more "Today" show drama brewing between Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie

9021-oh wow!

Tiffani Thiessen showed off her enviable body on Instagram this week, proving that she has hardly aged from her "Saved By The Bell" days.

The 48-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in a black one-piece swimsuit while posing on a rocky beach in Mendocino, California.

"When you get caught trying to find a place to pee," she joked in her caption.

Tiffani's legs looked toned and tan as she posed in aviator sunglasses, hat in hand.

The "Beverly Hills, 90210" star's 1.7 million Instagram followers marveled at her look.

Tiffani has previously spoken about her body and her fitness routine.

"I've always been someone who doesn't like doing the same thing every day, so I like to change my workouts up. I do strength training and HIIT classes Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and then I do mat Pilates on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On the weekends I usually go hiking. In California we have such great hikes," she once told Self.

She added, "I also have a Peloton, and I used that very much at the beginning of the pandemic. But I missed having that connection with real people, so since things are starting to open up, I went back to a private gym."

Anne Heche was having 'good times' in her final Instagram post

Anne Heche was happily living it up with friends in her final Instagram.

The "Volcano" actress was all smiles back on July 14 in a selfie with Matthew Lawrence, Joey Lawrence and his wife Samantha Cope.

"Good times on set with Lawrence Bros!," she captioned the two snaps in which she donned a vibrant pink outfit.

The photo will likely serve as the last time Anne posted to Instagram.

Late Thursday night, Anne's rep said the actress suffered a severe brain injury in a fiery car accident last week, and the Emmy-winning actress is not expected to survive.

"Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition," the rep says in a statement on behalf of Heche's family.

The statement continued, "It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she's being kept on life support to determine if any are viable."

Anne has been in a coma ever since crashing her Mini Cooper into a Los Angeles-area house on Aug. 5. That crash sparked a blaze that fully engulfed the home.

"She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention," a rep for the actress  said on Aug. 8. "She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident."

anchor battle

TV insiders suspect Savannah Guthrie's 'Today' tardiness is due to reported feud with Hoda Kotb

Savannah Guthrie showed up late to "Today" on Thursday, claiming she overslept. However, TV insiders think her tardiness was deliberate and a direct response to her rumored feud with co-anchor Hoda Kotb.

The affable "Today" host got to the studio 20 minutes before "Today" went to air to show NBC News "who is the real boss," a TV insider told Page Six, adding that there's little chance Savannah was actually catching a few too many zzzz's.

"This would never happen. She is literally the $40 million dollar woman. She is showing them who is the boss and that they can't do the show without her," the source said. "When Savannah doesn't show up for work the entire force of NBC News is dispatched to find out where she is."

"Savannah simply isn't allowed to 'go off the grid', what if there is breaking news?," the insider noted, adding that she's picked up promptly at 4 a.m. every day. "Producers, assistants, executives, security, hair and makeup people are all waiting for her to arrive. If she's one minute late, everyone would notice. If she's 10 minutes late, it's CODE RED."

Savannah is the most consequential part of the show, the source said, and she knows it.

"There is always a morning meeting ahead of the show, and if she isn't there at that point, we're talking about staff in hysterics and someone being called to break down her door," the source said.

While Savannah is seemingly indispensable, Hoda, who is on vacation this week, is arguably more of a fan favorite.

"When they come outside into the square, everyone is chanting Hoda's name, Hoda is the bigger star. Savannah believes she is the real news anchor, she's a creature of Washington, she loves politics, she has the reporting and interviewing chops," a second source said. "Even some of the stars who appear on the show all to be interviewed by Hoda because she is so much friendlier."

The insider noted that there is "an underlying competitiveness" between the two women, which makes it hard to "pretend to be best friends."

"Savannah and Hoda are very tense around each other. Savannah was furious when Hoda was brought into the first hour of the show, she wants to be the queen bee, and flipped out on producers," the second source claimed.

A third source also questioned Savannah's claim that she overslept.

"She is a total pro and would never want to look like she isn't the full professional," the source said.

Tiffany Haddish recalls turning down $10M endorsement offer because her 'soul is worth more'

Despite once turning down an easy multimillion-dollar payday, Tiffany Haddish has no endorsement remorse.

In a chat with Cosmopolitan, the "Night School" actress recalled being offered $10 million to endorse a product, but she rejected it because it made her "feel like s***."

Earl Gibson III/Shutterstock

"I've turned down $10 million just to do a post because it didn't represent my brand," she  said. "I turned down $10 million because my soul is worth more than that to me. My spirit, my integrity, how I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror every day."

Tiffany, who was once homeless and living in her car, didn't detail what she was asked to endorse, but said she'd "rather be flat broke" than take money for something she doesn't believe in. She has the same mentality with her movie roles.

"At first with acting roles, I used to just be like, 'What seems like fun?' Now it's, 'What seems like fun and what resonates with my soul?'" she said. "Then I ask, who else is working on it? Will it be my friends? What I've noticed lately, though, is that casting has been coming to me first. So I've learned how to fight better too."

Rob Latour/Shutterstock

Although Tiffany is a major name in Hollywood, she still doesn't automatically get to collaborate with everyone on her wish list.

"I kind of know what I'm doing," she said. "Give me an opportunity to make you richer, sir. I might not know how to keep a man, but I know how to make some money."

Likewise, the actress said she is very careful about her projects.

"I love and hate telling people no," she said. "I love it because it's for me—I have to take care of Tiffany. I hate it because nine times out of ten, whoever's asking me is somebody I probably really like and care about. If a friend wants me to do a show or something like that, I have to be honest … you just got to be selfish in a way, and I hate that feeling of being selfish, but I love the results."

Ex reaction

Ellen DeGeneres reacts to Anne Heche's fiery crash, hospitalization

Ellen DeGeneres is pulling for her ex Anne Heche after the fiery car crash that's left the "Volcano" actress comatose.

"I don't want anyone to be hurt," Ellen told photographers, per Daily Mail.

The talk show host said she hasn't been "in touch" with her ex in years and "wouldn't know" how she's doing.

Ellen and Anne dated from 1997 to 2000.

This marks the first time the comedian has spoken about her ex since the Emmy nominee crashed her Mini Cooper car into a Los Angeles home. That crash sparked a blaze that engulfed the house. The home is a total loss.

TMZ reported on Thursday, Aug. 11, that Anne is being investigated for felony DUI because the woman inside the home Anne barreled through was apparently injured. Anne was hospitalized and lost consciousness immediately after the crash. She's been in a coma ever since and fighting for her life.

"She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention," her spokesperson said.

Police believe Anne was intoxicated and got a blood draw from her in the hospital. Authorities are waiting for blood results.

Romance reflection

Millie Bobby Brown details being 'humiliated' by romance with TikToker

Millie Bobby Brown is reflecting back on her "unhealthy" relationship with TikToker Hunter Ecimovic.

In speaking to Allure, the actress said their dynamic was an "unhealthy situation," one that she "walked away" from. However, about six months later, Hunter discussing very intimate details of their romance.

"I felt very vulnerable," she said. "Also, no one on the set knew I was going through this. So, it was kind of nice to be able to just deal with that myself and no one else knew. Then it was harder when the whole world knew."

By then, Millie was dating current boyfriend Jake Bongiovi, who has helped her heal.

"When you get publicly humiliated this way—I felt so out of control and powerless," she told the publication. "Walking away and knowing that I'm worth everything and this person didn't take anything from me, it felt very empowering. It felt like my life had finally turned a page and that I actually had ended a chapter that felt so f****** long."

She added, "Ultimately, all I wanted to do within my career is help young girls and young people out there know that I, too, go through things. I'm not this perfect person that is selling skin-care products and [who is] in 'Stranger Things.' I absolutely have made wrong decisions."
