The tab from Blac Chyna's failed lawsuit against the Kardashian family has arrived.
The famous reality TV family claims its longtime nemesis owes the Hulu stars nearly $400,000 in litigation fees.
Back in 2017, Chyna, who shares a daughter with former fiancé Rob Kardashian, filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit against the Kardashian family, claiming they defamed her and torpedoed the "Rob & Chyna" reality show on E!. However, after a two-week trial, a jury sided with the Kardashians in early May, and a judge ordered that Chyna pay their litigation costs.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, "The Kardashians" squad racked up $391,094 in total throughout the years-long proceedings. That figure, by the way, does not include attorney's fees.
An itemized list shows that the Kardashians spent $184,871.71 on "models, enlargements, and photocopies of exhibits." Another $63,078.20 was spent on "deposition costs." There's also nearly $100,000 in miscellaneous fees.
It's important to note that a judge must still sign off on the six-figure number, but the judge did insist that the Kardashians are owed their due.
Hours after Chyna's loss, her mother, Tokyo Toni, started a GoFundMe page in hopes of covering appeal costs. A fundraising goal of $400,000 was set. To date, the fund has garnered less than $1,500.
