"Glee" star Dot Jones' wife has suffered a stroke and needs surgery to fix a hole in her heart in order to save her life.
The incident went down on July 4, TMZ reported. Dot, her wife, Bridgette, and their daughter were getting ready to attend a baseball game when Bridgette "suddenly lost feeling in her face, and fell to the floor," the report said on July 12.
Dot immediately called 911. Once paramedics arrived, they transported Bridgette to the hospital.
In the hospital, doctors found out that Bridgette had a hole in her heart, which triggered the stroke.
She is expected to have surgery to close the hole within the next few weeks.
Dot and Bridgette got married in 2013. She proposed to her longtime love at Disneyland during the Gay Days Anaheim weekend.
"Thank you @dotmariejones for making me the happiest woman in the world," Bridgette tweeted at the time.
Back in April, Dot shared an image with her wife.
"Sometimes you have to stop the world and realize how truly blessed you are!! #trulyblessed #loveofmylife #butterflies," she captioned the shot.
In February, Bridgette underwent surgery for an unknown reason.
"I WILL BE WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY BABY!!," Dot captioned a pic of her and Bridgette. "PRAYERS FOR MY GIRL WHO IS HAVING SURGERY IN THE MORNING!! YOU GOT THIS BRIDGETT!! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD!! YOU ARE MY WORLD!! I LOVE YOU!!"
