Khloe Kardashian has stated many times that she'll always love her estranged husband Lamar Odom, but she still wanted to get her revenge on him.
Her revenge came in the form of a smoking hot body.
"People ask me all the time, 'How did you bounce back from your breakup?' I guess since I started transforming my body and myself after such a low point in my life, people see me as some sort of expert on the subject," she said in her subscribers-only app. "I'm not claiming to be one."
Getting to the gym and busting her butt always makes Khloe feel like a "badass" after a split.
"I told [brother Rob Kardashian] a while back: the best form of revenge is a good body. It's a little silly but true," she said of her reclusive brother who is said to have gained 100 pounds over the past year. "There is literally no downfall to working out your blues in the gym! You'll feel better, and the by-product will be a fierce bod that's bound to make your ex do a double-take."
The breakup mentality can't all be physical and even somewhat vanity-driven. There has to be a bit of mental and emotional progress, too.
"The most important thing is to be honest with yourself," she said. "You need to find a way to genuinely be OK with the fact that things didn't work out, and know that time heals all."
She continued, "Nothing lasts forever -- that's the good news and the bad news! Focus on the positive and don't fake it."
In the past, she's called the gym her "happy place."
Over the past several years, the reality star has often been photographed before or after workouts. She's about to cash in on her status as a workout warrior, too.
Khloe, it was revealed in December, will be starring in a reality show titled "Revenge Body" on E!.
The show doesn't have a premiere date yet, but the show will focus on people facing uphill battles in their lives, whether it's from a breakup or perhaps from losing their jobs. Khloe "will help motivate them to seek the ultimate revenge by receiving a true and total makeover," E! said in a statement.
