Kim Kardashian is proud of her body and she's not about to let anyone make her feel differently.
"I will not live my life dictated by the issues you have with my sexuality," she said on International Women's Day, a day in which she found herself in the crosshairs of judgment of many celebrities.
Kim's latest social media controversy comes after posting a naked selfie that saw her in feuds with Bette Midler, Chloe Moretz and Piers Morgan. All three blasted Kim after her revealing post, but she fought back.
Kim took to her subscribers-only website and app to rather fiercely explain her side more thoroughly and share her thoughts on the blistering attacks from all sides.
"Hey, guys. I wanted to write a post elaborating on my tweets last night," she said. "In all seriousness, I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives."
Kim said she lives a clean life and doesn't do drugs. She rarely even drinks. Yet, she's doesn't understand how people often cite her as public enemy No. 1 when it comes to being a bad role model.
"It always seems to come back around to my sex tape," she said. "Yes, a sex tape that was made 13 years ago. 13 YEARS AGO. Literally that lonnng ago. And people still want to talk about it?!?!"
Kim has long been open about the tape, saying it was embarrassing. On March 8, she again spoke of the tape, saying she got over it and moved on.
"I shouldn't have to constantly be on the defense, listing off my accomplishments just to prove that I am more than something that happened 13 years ago," she said. "Let's move on, already. I have."
But that doesn't mean that she won't continue to show off her body.
"I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me," she wrote.
"And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world."
She continued, "I am empowered by my husband, who is so accepting and supportive and who has given me a newfound confidence in myself. He allows me to be me and loves me unconditionally."
Her husband Kanye West, of course, is no stranger to controversy or the occasional Twitter feud either.
Kim goes onto praise her family for teaching her "life lessons," of which she will pass along to her daughter, North.
"I want her to be proud of who she is. I want her to be comfortable in her body. I don't want her to grow up in a world where she is made to feel less-than for embracing everything it means to be a woman," Kim said.
As for all the body shaming, "it's like, enough is enough," she said.
"I will not live my life dictated by the issues you have with my sexuality. You be you and let me be me," she wrote in her strongly-worded post, adding, "I am a mother. I am a wife, a sister, a daughter, an entrepreneur and I am allowed to be sexy."
