Lady Gaga didn't give her dad some cookie cutter gift for Father's Day — she actually gave him cookies.
While appearing on Fox Business on Monday, Joe Germanotta, Gaga's dad, told Dagen McDowell that his daughter went the supermarket route to find his gift.
"My daughter Stefani, you know, aka Lady Gaga, she sent me a box of Oreos," he said.
For the record, Gaga is reportedly worth $300 million. A box of Oreos retails for about $4.
Still, Joe, a New York City restaurateur who owns Joanne Trattoria, seemed completely happy with his gift.
"It was a great day," he said.
For the past month, Gaga has been promoting her new album "Chromatica" and opening up about how her new music helped her get healthier. She's even stopped smoking.
"I smoked the whole way through making this record," she told Zane Lowe on his Apple Music show last month. "And when we were done, I stopped. It was the most bizarre, beautiful thing that could have happened, that this music actually healed me. You don't understand how I feel, what I've been through. And I was in this endless state of 'I'm being attacked.'"
Not only did she quit smoking, but Gaga also considered giving booze the boot, she said.
"I don't take any pain medication, because it's not healthy for me," she's said, "but I've flirted with the idea of sobriety. I'm not there yet, but I flirted with it throughout the album."
