It was a family affair for Liam Neeson at the New York Rangers vs. Boston Bruins game on March 23, 2016!

The 63-year-old actor took in the hockey game with his two sons, Micheál, 20, and Daniel, 19, that he shared with his late wife, Natasha Richardson.

Liam and his oldest son Micheál wore strikingly similar ensembles of dark blazers and t-shirts to take in the game. Micheál accessorized with many rings and kept his long brown hairs back in a man bun. Daniel, on the other hand, opted for a more casual look, donning a pink and white striped polo shirt with blue slacks and a baseball cap.

Liam was still looking noticeably slimmer still due to his 20-pound weight loss to play Father Cristóvão Ferreira for the upcoming Martin Scorcese movie "Silence."

From the looks of things, though, Liam isn't the only actor out of the trio of men. Micheál has inked a deal to star in the upcoming "The Rising: 1916" starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Micheál Neeson will star as the Irish patriot Michael Collins -- a role Liam played in 1996 and put him on the map.

For Micheál, landing the movie role was a dream -- even if Liam Neeson wasn't particularly thrilled about the idea of him becoming an actor.

"Dad was like: 'Please become a carpenter or something,'" Micheál told the Evening Standard. "On my Mum's side I was encouraged to do whatever I wanted."

For Micheál, landing this major role is something of a fresh start. Last year, the then 19-year-old opened up about the magnitude of losing his mother Natasha Richardson at such a young age. In an effort to deal with his mother's untimely death, Michael said he turned to drugs and alcohol.

"Everybody said, 'This kid has lost his mum, that's where the problem comes from.' And I was like, 'No, it isn't, I just like to party.' But looking back I realize it was a delayed reaction," he told People.com.

Micheál ended up getting sober after spending some time in wilderness therapy in Utah and then moved to London to work in fashion. All the while, though, he had big hopes to pursue acting.

Looks like his dreams came true!
