Lil Wayne is finally giving fans a glimpse of his life behind bars!

Back in 2010 the rapper was incarcerated at Rikers Island for eight months stemming from a July 2007 conviction for criminal possession of a weapon, and he has just known chosen to open up about that period in his life.

Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter Jr., is primed to release a memoir that he wrote during his time in prison. The book, entitled "Gone 'Til November", will be based off of his handwritten journal and will include tons of interesting anecdotes about life at Rikers Island. It's set to be released on Oct. 11, 2016.

Among the rapper's self-proclaimed "crazy" tales that Page Six recently revealed? He writes about the time he presided over a wedding ceremony for two male inmates, complete with toilet paper decorations in the prison hall and a Gatorade wedding toast, noting, "Gatorade is liquid gold in this b----... Imagine seeing grown-a-- men in jail hanging tissue for wedding decorations. AND one of them is Lil Wayne. Crazy."

He also opens up about how he passed the time while locked up, including a newfound affinity for "American Idol." One show he said he's rather stay in his cell than watch? "The Wendy Williams Show."

Lil Wayne reflects on the famous friends that came to visit him during his time at Rikers, and the list is pretty impressive -- P. Diddy, Kanye West and Drake all underwent the required body searches in order to visit their friend. And it was Drake's visit that resulted in one of the lowest points of his sentence.

Drake disclosed to Lil Wayne that he had slept with his girlfriend during his visit, a memory which Lil Wayne recaps in his memoir by saying, "Finding out that she [bleeped] Drake was the absolute worst thing I could have found out. Drizzy came to see me, he was like, 'Yeah, it's true'. Damn! This is the type of [bleep] a man never wants to find out while he is locked up."

One positive thing that came out of the rapper's Rikers time? A new album! He reminisces about writing on a daily basis, and how being locked up put his creativity to the ultimate test.

Way to see the silver lining, Lil Wayne!
