Tyga has a lot of explaining to do. Kylie Jenner's boyfriend is on the defensive after a 14-year-old girl claimed that the rapper had begun sending her unwanted messages online.

Molly O'Malia, an aspiring model-singer, claims that Tyga first contacted her on Instagram. In a tear-filled press conference on Jan. 4, the teen detailed the digital advances.

"I knew who he was but I was surprised that he was contacting me. I thought that it could possibly be about my music," she said standing with famed attorney Gloria Allred by her side, "but he did not mention that in his initial communication with me."

"I thought that was strange, but I was thinking he would bring that up in his next message to me," she continued. "However, he didn't mention it in the next message."

Molly said that Tyga wanted more than just texting -- he wanted to take their relationship to another level: FaceTime.

"He asked me to FaceTime three times, but I did not do it," she said. "Because of my discomfort with why he wanted to communicate with me I quickly stopped responding to him. It's crazy how so much can come out of nothing."

Reports quickly surfaced that Tyga, 26, was hooking up with Molly, something she said never happened.

"I don't want what happened to me to happen to any other young girl," she added.

Tyga's camp did not deny that he was in touch with Molly, but said it was strictly business.

Per TMZ, Tyga's team discovered that the Delaware native had a big online following and Tyga wanted to possibly work with her on a project via his record label, Last Kings Records. In addition, TMZ also has acquired alleged texts where Molly said she was 17 years old, not 14 years old.

In the wake of the scandal, the aspiring singer has now set her Instagram and other social media pages to private, but she reportedly has more than 50,000 followers on Instagram and more than 30,000 followers on Twitter.

The story first broke in OK! Magazine which blares a headline that claims Tyga is "in love" with Molly and that Kylie is "heartbroken" that her boyfriend is texting another girl.
