A source told the
New York Post that Chuck Schumer began to feel lightheaded while on a stationary bike in the Senate gym. A rep confirmed the senator was briefly hospitalized "out of an abundance of caution" but was released soon after and quickly returned to work at the Capitol.

He appeared healthy at the gathering as temperatures reached the high-90s in New York and Washington, D.C., where medical professionals recommended people prioritize staying hydrated and cool.
