Early on June 10, DNI Tulsi Gabbard posted a warning on X, cautioning viewers about the potential for mass nuclear casualties."Political elite warmongers are carelessly fomenting fear intentions between nuclear powers," she said in the video. "Perhaps it's because they are confident that they will have access to nuclear shelters for themselves and for their families that regular people won't have access to."
Gabbard concluded with a call to action, urging the public to "reject this path to nuclear war" and instead "work toward a world where no one has to live in fear of a nuclear holocaust."

The video quickly gained traction on social media — but one person wasn't impressed. According to Politico, President Donald Trump became angry after seeing the clip."Trump saw the unauthorized video and became incensed, complaining to associates at the White House that she had spoken out of turn," the outlet reported.
While he may not have taken it personally, a senior administration official said, "I don't think he dislikes Tulsi Gabbard as a person. … But certainly the video made him not super-hot on her … and he doesn't like it when people are off message."

President Donald Trump's frustration comes after a disagreement between him and Tulsi Gabbard over Iran's nuclear program. When asked on Tuesday, June 17, how close he believed Iran was to developing nuclear weapons, Trump responded, "Very close."
A reporter then noted that Gabbard had testified in March that U.S. intelligence showed Iran was not actively building a weapon — to which the president responded, "I don't care what she said. I think they were very close to having one."
