"I told Canada, which very much wants to be part of our fabulous Golden Dome System, that it will cost $61 Billion Dollars if they remain a separate, but unequal, Nation, but will cost ZERO DOLLARS if they become our cherished 51st State," Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social on Tuesday, May 27."They are considering the offer," he added.

Donald Trump's Golden Dome is a missile defense project aimed at protecting the nation from foreign threats, and if Canada joins the U.S., it will receive similar resources."Golden Dome for America is a revolutionary concept to further the goals of peace through strength and President Trump's vision for deterring adversaries from attacks on the homeland," leading Aerospace company Lockheed Martin shared on their website.
"This next generation defense shield will identify incoming projectiles, calculate trajectory and deploy interceptor missiles to destroy them mid-flight, safeguarding the homeland and projecting American Strength," the company added.

While Donald Trump was typing a Truth Social post, King Charles was in Canada advocating for the British Commonwealth."Canada is facing challenges that, in our lifetimes, are unprecedented," the head of state said on Tuesday, May 27.
"Many Canadians are feeling anxious and worried about the drastically changing world around them," His Majesty added.
