"Damn Daniel" is back at it again!
Daniel Laura is just your typical freshman in high school who needs a date to prom, but thanks to his viral fame, he was able to ask model Gigi Hadid to go with him.
For those who aren't familiar with his viral popularity, let's rewind and remember how Daniel and his pal Joshua Holz got their first appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' show.
An edited collection of Snapchat videos of Daniel with slip-on sneakers has been watched over 178 million times on Vine, because his friend Joshua says "Damn, Daniel" in a hilarious way, plus the video shows off his shoes.
When Josh says, "Back at it again with the white Vans," that also turned into a catchphrase of its own.
After the video was retweeted more than 300,000 times and liked 400,000 times on Twitter and looped more than two million times on Vine, Ellen had the boys come in to talk about it.
Ellen liked the guys so much that she gave them the opportunity to attend the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards, and that's where he met Gigi.
"I know you have a thing with Zayn, but is there anyway you'd go to prom with me?" Daniel boldly asked the 20-year-old model on the red carpet.
Gigi asked him when his prom was, and he said in about two weeks.
"Possibly," she said. "I'll ask Z, we'll see."
Z, let her go with Daniel!
While it was not exactly a yes, Gigi did agree to taking Snapchat selfies with the duo as did many celebs including Andy Samberg and Tyler Posey, and Daniel managed to get his yearbook signed by Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr and Seth Rogen.
Daniel and Josh also took over the awards show by giving celebs awards from them that were in the form of a golden Van shoe.
Adam DeVine won "Best Damn Look" and Cara Delvingne won for "Best Damn Eyes."
We'll all be damned if that's not a good way to get some celebrity attention.
