Oh how the tables have turned!

It appears as though Taylor Swift may have pulled the same cold-blooded move that Joe Jonas did when he infamously dumped her with a 27 second phone call back in 2008 … Ouch!

TMZ is reporting that T-Swizz dumped Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, whom she'd been dating for 15 months, in May with a brief phone call. If the report is true, that's not a super cool way to end a relationship if you ask us!

The site is also reporting that she made the call from Nashville, TN., soon after he crashed his car in Los Angeles on May 20.

Sources tell the publication that the Grammy gal, "was vague during the call, only saying she needed some space." And by "space" -- it looks like she meant she needed some lovin' from Tom Hiddleston, the British actor whom she got caught smoochin' earlier this week!

The outlet added that the music man was "thunderstruck" by the break up. Apparently, the "Summer" DJ thought Tay, "Was in it for the long haul and wanted to help him recover." Not so much it seems!

According to MailOnline, another source denied the report, saying that the chart-topping singer did not break up with her boyfriend over the phone, and that in fact she headed to Los Angeles to help him after his car accident. The site reports that Swift's rep was contacted about the story but has not yet commented.

We'd be a bit shocked if the "Wildest Dreams" singer did break up with Harris over the phone, given how outspoken she was after her break up in 2008 with the Jonas brother.

In 2008, Swift appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and said that the popstar had broken up with a 27-second phone call.

At the time, she said, "It's all right -- I'm cool. You know what, it's like, when I find that person that is right for me, he'll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I'm not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18."

Jonas' side of the story was a bit different. The DNCE singer explained to upset fans that not all was what it seemed. The singer explained, "For those who have expressed concern over the '27 second' phone call, I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk."

Meanwhile, E! News is also reporting that Harris was shocked by the break up and by her finding a new beau so quickly. The outlet reports that Harris feels "betrayed" and "was completely blindsided by this." A source told E!, "He is hurt...he is still processing everything. He is angry. He never heard of this Tom guy, but if that's her type then so be it."

Since the photos of Swift and Hiddleston went viral, Harris had deleted any images of Swift on his social media and she has done the same. Additionally, the DJ has been spotted out and about Los Angeles wearing Yeezy sneakers — a subtle jab at his ex flame, whose beef with Kanye West has been well documented.

Hiddleston and Swift made headlines after meeting at the 2016 Met Gala on May 2, 2016 -- exactly one month before she called off things with the Scotsman. An Instagram video surfaced of the two dancing together at the event. At the time, the video seemed more playful than romantic -- but knowing what we know now, clearly something was being sparked at that glittering gala!
