Momma's got a brand new 'do.

Halle Berry has chopped off her lob-style haircut and traded it in for a dramatic new look. Halle's now rocking an ear-length bowl-type cut with bangs.

The actress had been teasing her nearly 400,000 Instagram followers earlier in the week, hinting at the change via several artistic shots that she was dramatically changing up her look.

"I am not my hair," she said in one post of the back of her newly shorn hair, adding that she was "exploring my new film character."

Other images showed the moment that Halle decided to go through the cut, with one snap showing the back of her long hair. Another image, posted shortly after, showed her on the verge of her hair transformation with an old fashioned razor.

Halle then posted a side shot of her hair being sprayed, all but showing off the finished product, which was done by celebrity hairstylist Kristin Ess, who is also responsible for hair transformations for Lauren Conrad and Lucy Hale in the past.

"Behind every actor is a super team of hairstylists," Halle said. "#hairstylistappreciationday (this [cut] courtesy of @kristin_ess. And of course mad love to my boys who are ALWAYS on point: @neekobackstage_ @brantmayfield + @castillo_13)."

The actress recently launched Scandale Halle Berry lingerie. She used her social media to show off her new hair, while promoting her new line, of course.

"First look at @ScandaleHalleBerry," she wrote of another artistic shot of her in her lingerie. "More beautiful things to come."

A look at the brand's newly-launched Instagram page shows one image: a beautiful shot of Halle (in her new hair) going down a set of modern stairs.

The caption is a quote from Halle, which reads, "My vision was to create a brand for women that listens to them and gives them what they actually want without compromise."

A YouTube video for the brand shows Halle speaking about her line, saying she wanted to "create a bra that was soft and yummy and would look flattering under a t-shit. Every woman is searching for that perfect shape.. it's about comfort and wearability."
