Julia Roberts Has Rules For Danny Moder While He's Away Working?

Does Julia Roberts have rules for Danny Moder to follow while he's away from home working on a film? That's the claim in one of this week's tabloids, which says the actress keeps her husband on a tight leash. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can exclusively set the record straight.

According to OK!, the cinematographer had little freedom while on location in Europe in September working on the upcoming movie Ibiza. A so-called "source" tells the magazine, "Danny had to check in with her three times a day and wasn't allowed to go to sleep without FaceTiming her and the kids. Julia can be very codependent, so she gets anxious when he's out of town."

The outlet's dubious insider goes on to say Roberts also forbid her husband from partying with the cast and crew during off hours. "Julia trusts Danny, but there were a slew of gorgeous young women working on the film, so she didn't want him in that scene," adds the questionable source, who further contends that Moder is happy to be back home because "he can finally get some peace."

Gossip Cop, however, is exclusively assured by a source close to the situation that there's no truth to any of this. The actress simply doesn't have a list of rules for her husband to follow while he's out of town. Additionally, Roberts gushed about her marriage in the November issue of Harper's Bazaar, and even revealed she became a less selfish person after meeting her husband. "When I think about what makes my life my life, and makes sense and just shine inside of me, it's him," she said. "Everything has come from that for me."

OK! is the same unreliable outlet that Gossip Cop recently busted for falsely claiming Roberts was "fighting for her marriage." Shortly before that nonsense, we called out the magazine's sister publication, Star, for making up a story about Roberts and Moder being "on the rocks." Clearly, the tabloids have a habit of creating nonexistent problems in the couple's relationship.
