What a difference a decade or two makes.
Al Roker is marking the 20-year anniversary of his gastric bypass surgery by busting out the pants he once used to wear.
"Hard to believe it was 20 years ago today, I wore these size 54 Levi jeans to my #gastricbypass at 340 lbs and here I am today," the "Today" weatherman captioned a series of Instagram images.
In one snap, Al poses with the jeans. In two others, he actually wears the pants, which accurately displays exactly how much weight he's actually lost.
"It's still a struggle but I'm never going back," he continued. "I have setbacks and struggle every day, but I never forget how far I've come."
Al also posted a video of him getting into the pants on his Instagram Story.
The affable weatherman has been open about getting gastric bypass, previously noting he lost 150 pounds after the procedure.
"My wife is a size 4; she runs, she works out and it became a problem in our marriage … On a Saturday she'd get up, get dressed to run and I'd be sitting on the couch or making breakfast for the kids," he wrote in a "Today" essay in 2013. "She was upset about it, she was frustrated, she was angry. She thought, 'Why don't you care enough about yourself and why don't you care about me and our relationship enough to change?' And I said, 'Look, it's not about you. It's about me.'"
As this weighed heavily on him, Al promised his late father he would shed the pounds.
Over the years, the 67-year-old has become known to share walking videos, including one he posted on March 16.
"Take care of yourself and the ones around you, make sure you do that," he captioned a video of him working out on the treadmill. Two days prior, he filmed himself walking around Central Park in New York City.
