The women came under fire for past racist acts, which were brought to light by Faith Stowers, who appeared on seasons 4 and 6. Faith, the only black cast member during her time on the show, accused Stassi and Kristen of calling the cops on her in 2018 for a crime she didn't commit. The women initially boasted about the incident but have since apologized.
In a statement to Page Six, the women's new rep, Steve Honig, said, "Stassi and Kristen acknowledged what they did was wrong, have apologized and been punished. Without casting aside their actions or the impact of those actions, they want to move forward as part of the solution in ways that are productive, meaningful and sincere. Both of them recognize actions speak louder than words and that is what will guide them as they move forward."

The fallout from the firings and Faith's stories has been swift, particularly in Stassi's case, as she was dropped by both her publicist and agent, as well as from several lucrative brand partnerships. Further, a New Jersey venue that was set to host her "Straight Up with Stassi LIVE" roadshow in January canceled on her amid the scandal. Several streaming platforms have also dropped her popular podcast.
Faith said she feels "vindicated" after the firings.
