"Botched" star Terry Dubrow claims a former patient is trying to extort him for $5 million.
According to court documents filed by Terry, the reality TV doctor said the ex-patient threatened him with a federal lawsuit, via a 901 page letter, and threatened to report him to the medical board unless he paid up. She also said she would drag his E! TV show into the lawsuit.

TMZ reported that Terry treated the Texas woman in July 2019 for a buttock lift with fat flaps. He claims in the legal documents that he told her about the risks before the surgery and advised her of post-operational care once she returned home to The Lone Star State.
He says he also followed up with her in October 2019.

A year after the surgery, however, the woman sent Terry, the husband of former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Heather Dubrow, a letter claiming that he was negligent with his medical treatment and she wanted $5 million to make it right.
While Terry claims this is textbook extortion, the woman's lawyer argued that the doctor was more focused on his TV career than his medical career. In speaking to TMZ, Stephen Le Brocq, the attorney for the patient, alleged that Terry left surgical tools inside the woman because he was rushing the job. Terry, the attorney claims, was too eager to get back to "Botched."
"Instead of doing the right thing and accepting responsibility for his gross incompetence, he (Dubrow) makes claims of extortion," the lawyer said.
Terry is reportedly willing to fight the allegations in arbitration.
