Dolly Parton is taking a step back in time… Rather, she's hopping back in time.
On Tuesday, the iconic country singer recreated her legendary 1978 Playboy cover as a special treat for her husband, Carl Dean.
"Today is July 20th, it's my husband Carl's birthday and you're probably wondering why I'm dressed like this. Well, it's for my husband's birthday," she said in the clip. "Remember some time back I said I was gonna pose on Playboy magazine when I'm 75? Well, I'm 75 and they don't have a magazine anymore, but my husband always loved the original cover of Playboy, so I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy."
"He still thinks I'm a hot chick after 57 years and I'm not gonna try to talk him out of that," she continued. "I hope he agrees. What do you think?"
Alongside the video, the singer joked that "it's always #HotGirlSummer for my husband, Carl."
Dolly went on to explain that she did a photoshoot in the bunny outfit and made it into a cover.

In comparing the original photoshoot to the recent one, which he she had framed and displayed, she said, "In the first one, I was kind of a little butterball in that one. Well, I'm string cheese now, but he'll probably thinking I'm cream cheese, I hope."
Dolly ended the video with a photo that showed her presenting the side-by-side images to her husband. She's still wearing the outfit.
