Scarlett Johansson and Colon Jost's wedding is keeping vulnerable seniors well fed.

On Oct. 29, the couple allowed Meals on Wheels to announce their marriage. In the Instagram announcement, the organization asked that fans of the couple donate. That request has paid off.
According to TMZ, within 24 hours of the announcement, Meals on Wheels saw $10,000 in donations pour in via the Scarlett-Colin link on Instagram. Plus, the wedding post had nearly 10 times more "likes" than Meals on Wheels' previous top post.
In making the announcement, Meals on Wheels America photoshopped a picture of the Staten Island Ferry with cans dangling behind it. "Jost Married" was embedded in the image.
"We're thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and love ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC," the post said. "Their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults during this difficult time by supporting @mealsonwheelsamerica."
The announcement brought a lot of attention to the organization, which helps seniors fight hunger.
"We are grateful that they chose to share their wedding spotlight with vulnerable older adults across the country, illuminating their critical needs and what Meals on Wheels is doing to ensure no senior is forgotten," a rep said.
Scarlett and Colin have been longtime supporters of Meals on Wheels.
