It doesn't look like anybody will be showing up at Gwyneth Paltrow's door with homemade cookies to welcome her to the neighborhood when she moves in to her new house in Montecito, California.
According to Page Six, construction plans to build a too-huge mansion have already pissed off her neighbors.

"She's created an uproar with neighbors on all three sides," Andrew Rice, a spokesperson for one of the nearby residents explained to the online mag on July 2.
The homeowners think the super-tall house will block their views and won't fit in with the other homes in the area.
Still, the Montecito Board of Architectural Review recently gave the go ahead to Gwyneth's architect, who justified the plans with claims that the property had been lowered 8 feet.
The neighborhood spokesperson argues that it had only been lowered 1 foot in actuality.
And, despite efforts to reach out to the Goop blogger to work something out, there's been no headway.
The mom of two actually caused similar drama with her last house in Brentwood, California. A formal complaint was filed after she put up a huge 9-foot gate.
