You haven't seen Jamie Lee Curtis like this in four decades.
The actress took to Instagram on Jan. 30 to share an image from the set of the newest "Halloween" movie. Jamie will be reprising her role as Laurie Strode. Jamie, who has long been known for her short hair, is almost unrecognizable with her new long blonde hair, which she is rocking for the film.
"First shot. @halloweenmovie Halloween 40 years later. Same slate. Same Laurie. David Gordon Green directing from his script. Happy Halloween 2018 everyone. See you all 10/19/18 #halloweenmovie," she captioned the snap of her and her director.
Jamie wears a button down denim shirt tucked into her brown jeans.

Last fall, it was announced that Jamie would again star as Laurie in a reboot of the horror classic that was originally released in 1978. In the original film, Jamie, then 20 years old, had long hair.
Jamie has been using social media to continued hyping up the film. After the official announcement, Jamie — with short hair — shared an image from the set. This photo showed her and the film's antagonist Mike Myers.
"Same porch. Same clothes. Same issues. 40 years later. Headed back to Haddonfield one last time for Halloween. Release date 10/19/18," she wrote.
One Halloween (the actual date) she again shared an image of her and Mike.
"SOME WOUNDS NEVER HEAL," she said.
