Kathy Griffin is maintaining her sense of humor after her cancer diagnosis and surgery.
The comedian posted a video to Instagram on Saturday for the first time since having part of her left lung removed.

"Hi guys, I might start to post little videos about my recovery and stuff, but my voice is like, really hoarse and I don't want to scare people,"she joked. "I'm laughing, it's just even that notion."
She continued, "Also, for some reason, I laugh at everything now. And if it's horrible, I laugh way more!"
The Emmy and Grammy winner revealed on Aug. 2 that she was diagnosed with lung cancer, despite having not been a smoker.
"The doctors are very optimistic as it is stage one and contained to my left lung. Hopefully no chemo or radiation after this and I should have normal function with my breathing. I should be up and running around as usual in a month or less," Kathy wrote.
On Aug. 4, Kathy conceded that the surgery was "a little more" than she had anticipated.
After her new video, many of Kathy's famous friends voiced their support.
"We are praying for you love you!!!!!!," Kris Jenner commented. Debra Messing added, "You do you honey!!!"
"U got this kath !!" wrote fellow comedian Rosie O'Donnell. Rosanna Arquette, meanwhile, said she was "proud" of Kathy.
