Mike Sorrentino's holiday season has gotten a little more special… and sober.
On Dec. 24, the "Jersey Shore" star celebrated five years of sobriety.
"5 years clean & Sober Today!!," he wrote on Instagram. "The best view comes from the hardest climb 🎄 #proud."
Mike attached a photo that shows a cupcake cake in the shape of the number five. He also held up an award from the Banyan Treatment Center to mark the occasion.
"Congratulations honey!!!," Mike's wife, Lauren Sorrentino, commented. "I'm so proud of you 🙏🏼 ♥️ love you always."
Several of The Situation's "Jersey Shore" castmates also celebrated the accomplishment.
"So awesome! Keep it up Brotha," Snooki wrote. Pauly D added, "Congrats my brother."
In addition to his sobriety, Mike is also celebrating his impending fatherhood. On Nov. 24, Mike and Lauren announced they were having a baby. They later revealed they were having a boy.

Still, there has still been one major speed bump of late for Mike. On Dec. 8, a judge issued a written warning due to his noncompliance of community service, which comes as part of his tax evasion case.
Courts docs showed the reality TV star had completed just 18 hours of his required 500 hours of community service. Part of the warning read, "The probation office has reminded Sorrentino at nearly every interaction to find a venue for community service, including service that could be performed from home; however, he has not made sufficient efforts to address the hours."
