"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Dorit Kemsley was reportedly robbed at gunpoint inside her Los Angeles-area home while her two children slept nearby. The incident has left her "traumatized," a source says.
It's unknown if the home invasion will affect her involvement in the new season of the Bravo show, which is set to begin filming on Oct. 28.
According to The Daily Mail, three men broke into Dorit's Encino Hills, Calif., home around 11 p.m. on Oct. 27 by smashing through a door. Two men then reportedly walked into her bedroom while she was sleeping, and Dorit horrifyingly woke up to them standing at the end of her bed.
"Don't hurt my babies. Don't kill me. I'm a mother," she reportedly begged, a source tells the publication. One of the men replied, "Kill her."
The intruders did not go into her children's rooms, but they ransacked the rest of the home for about 20 minutes, stealing all of the reality TV star's jewelry and handbags.
After the intruders left, Dorit called police and her husband, PK Kemsley, who is in London. Upon hearing this, PK immediately got on a plane to head back to California.
The couple shares son Jagger, 7, and daughter Phoenix, 5.
In the wake of the incident, the source close to Dorit said her only focus right now is to protect her children.
