Following her traumatic experience in the Congo rainforest, Ashley Judd has just one simple request: she wants to wash her hair.
Nearly three weeks ago, the actress revealed that she shattered her leg and nearly lost it after she tripped over a fallen tree while in the Congo, where she was tracking bonobos, an endangered species of great apes. On Feb. 16, she posted several photos of herself being carried out of the jungle via a hammock and driven out on a scooter. It took more than two days for her to receive professional medical help.
She has since undergone an eight-hour surgery to repair nerve damage in her leg, which was broken in four places.
As she heals, Ashley's famous sister said the "Double Jeopardy" actress just wants a rinse.
"I was looking up how to wash hair for someone who's lying down in bed because she texted me, 'Can you wash my hair?" Wynonna Judd told Page Six. "Therein lies the job of a big sister right there. She said, 'I have a request. Can you wash my hair?' I said, 'sure,' so I'm looking up ways to wash someone's hair lying down."
The famous country singer said Ashley is "still processing" the accident.

Last week, Ashley posted a video of herself walking again with the assistance of a walker. She also profusely thanked the medical teams who helped her.
"Let us always remember those without insurance," she wrote on Instagram. "Let us remember those who do not have choices. Let us remember those who are lonely and afraid."
