Wendy Williams is taking a trip down memory lane in honor of her son's birthday, but her keepsakes have a lot of people asking questions.

To celebrate Kevin Hunter Jr.'s 20th birthday, the talk show host took to Instagram to show off a few mementos, including her cerclage — otherwise known as a cervical stitch.
"Today is my biggest day! Son Kevin & I are celebrating his 20th birthday❤He's in Miami & I'm in NYC, but love never stops," she wrote alongside the photo. "If you look closely you'll see remains of 1st hair cut, my cerclage is on sneaker, like a mom… I DO have all his teeth."
She added, "I'm not a fan of cake, but today OK…for my son❤ What are you doing?"
Fans were quick to point out the weirdness of the saved items.
"What in the voodoo witchcraft is all that hair," one person commented.
However, the majority of the questions centered around the cerclage, which is used to hold a woman's cervix closed.
"Items can have sentimental value but it doesn't mean you keep them. That was sewn into her cervix, that's a biohazard and she has it sitting on her sons baby shoe," one person wrote.
Another wondered, "Is the cerclage still in the freezer?"

Many of Wendy's followers backed her, claiming parents often keep things from their children that can be perceived as weird.
"Good for you," one person said. "That could be the something USED or Borrowed on the wedding day."
Another said, "It's something that people do. My mom still has my hair and part of my umbilical cord from when I was born."
