Here's to the newlyweds! Singer-songwriter James Blunt and Sofia Wellesley celebrated their wedding in Majorca in front of close family and friends on Friday, Daily Mail reports. The couple previously married in a private ceremony at a London registry office on Sept. 5.
Blunt, 40, and the British socialite quietly exchanged vows earlier this month one day after attending Elton John's annual End of Summer party in Windsor. "Sofia joked to friends that she was almost too hungover to get married," an insider said.
After their bigger affair yesterday, the bride and groom whisked away in a bronze VW Beetle. The "You're Beautiful" singer wore a black suit while his bride wore a long-sleeve lace dress and kept her blonde locks away from her face in a low bun.
The couple got engaged in December 2013 after dating for a year. Wellesley graduated from the prestigious Edinburgh University and is currently a legal consultant for a London based firm. Her father is Lord John Henry Wellesley and she's the granddaughter of the Duke of Wellington.
