Kris Jenner could have broken her wrist on Wednesday after she was involved in a car accident near a Los Angeles freeway.
According to TMZ, the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch was driving by the 101 freeway when Kris' white Rolls Royce collided with a Prius. The force of the impact was strong enough for the airbag to deploy.
Kris only got the Rolls Royce last week.
The celebrity website said that, according to a family source, the Prius ran a red light, which caused the accident. A law enforcement official seems to concur with that story, telling TMZ that the initial investigation shows that Kris was driving on a surface street when the Prius cut in front of her and tried to get onto the busy freeway, causing the collision.
Paramedics arrived on the scene within minutes. However, Kris was apparently kept in the car by medical personnel who did not want to remove her for fear of worsening the wrist injury.
Photos from the scene show the front end of the car badly damaged on the passenger side. The Prius is severely damaged on the passenger side, as well. A deflated air bag can clearly be seen through the passenger side window. The condition of the driver of that car isn't known yet.
