It's really over.

That's what TMZ's sources are saying about Kylie Jenner and Tyga, whose often rocky (and often controversial) relationship has been under increasing scrutiny since the fall of last year, when they reportedly split, then got back together a few days later.

Although the reasons for the longtime couple's latest parting of ways have not yet been confirmed, the website reports this breakup is unlikely to be repaired like the last.

Kylie and Tyga reportedly ended things just before the Met Gala on May 2, then walked the red carpet separately that night -- a move TMZ says was Kylie's idea. The 18-year-old reality star and Lip Kit creator is said to have been irked that Tyga attended the high-profile event, as his invitation was contingent on his relationship with her. She's also allegedly frustrated with herself for not doing more to keep him out.

TMZ's also hinting Tyga, 26, may have already waded back into the dating pool, citing his Mother's Day lunch outing with his mom and an unidentified model.

In November, the pair reportedly split over what was touted at the time as "something Tyga did," which may have been why Kylie was M.I.A. during Tyga's birthday party.

The rapper apparently righted his wrong at the time, though, sparking Kylie to post a photo on Instagram that seemed to show her relaxing with her man alongside the caption, "everyone needs to chill."

By Thanksgiving, Tyga was back in the good graces of his on-again girlfriend and her family, and he appeared in photos the Kardashian-Jenner krewe shared of their holiday festivities.

It wasn't until January that rift rumors resurfaced, with some sources saying the flare-up came after allegations Tyga had cheated on Kylie with Brazilian model Annalu Cardoso.

"They have a very 'high school' relationship and argue and bicker all the time about stuff for no reason, and that's because Kylie doesn't trust Tyga after all the reports came out about him cheating," an insider told People at the time.

Near the end of the month, Kylie posted a chat she'd had with a friend in which she sounded concerned she'd been involved in too many serious relationships since she started dating as a young teen.

"I feel like I really need to find myself. And have like a relationship with myself," one of her chat messages read, "because I don't know what it feels like to be by myself. I feel like you have to love yourself before you can love anybody else."

Kylie was first spotted with Tyga back in 2011, when he performed at her older sister, Kendall Jenner's sweet 16 party. He was friends with the family for some time, but within a couple of years, he'd become such a staple on Kylie's Instagram that many assumed they were dating long before they confirmed their relationship.

A quick scroll through Kylie's Instagram on May 12, however, shows it's been at least three weeks since she's included him in any photos.
