Well, that was fun while it lasted. Paris Hilton and her boyfriend of a year, Thomas Gross, have split.
The breakup ends a fast-paced fairy tale romance that had Paris saying that Thomas was her "soulmate."
Paris met the handsome businessman at the Cannes Film Festival last May. The two immediately hit it off and were attached at the hip … and at the mouth (as they were photographed several times in steamy make out sessions.)
Paris, who was at Coachella over the weekend, wasn't shy about her love for Thomas, openly speaking about him in interviews and sharing pictures of the two of them.
"He's very private so he'd never want cameras following us around," she told British publication Closer in November 2015. "I'm so busy with my work that when I do get time at home, I don't have time to watch reality TV. I like to cook for my boyfriend and watch movies together."
She continued, "Thomas is my soulmate. I've never been happier. He doesn't like fame, he just wants me. With previous boyfriends I felt there was always an intention, but with him I know it's all about love."
In November she posed for the cover of Australia's Seiten Blicke magazine.
"Loving this new cover story on my love and I that just came out today," the blonde bombshell captioned the photo along with a heart emoji.
Thomas who is worth over $200 million, bought her a new silver Mercedes-Benz G-wagon worth over $125,000 in November, as well.
"Love my new pressie!" she captioned a snap of her and the car. "Thank you my love for making me feel like the luckiest woman in the world every single day! I love you!"
Paris saw marriage with Thomas in her future, perhaps she caught the "I do" bug after taking him to her sister's lavish wedding at Kensington Palace in July.
About six months into the relationship, Paris even began setting the wheels in motion to move to Switzerland, where Thomas lives.
"I just love everything about this country," she told to German-language tabloid Blick. "The people are so lovely, the food is excellent and the scenery beautiful."
Paris admitted that she hasn't visited too many areas of the country, but still said, "I want to be Swiss."
